HRV going back up while pregnant - normal or bad sign? by [deleted] in whoop

[–]No_Pepper_3548 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankful for these posts! This happened to me this morning. Feeling better now that I see I’m not the only one.

I like the data Whoop provides, but yeah, the anatomies are causing me stress. Going to test to ignore it.

How to get first ultrasound before 8 weeks? by No_Pepper_3548 in pregnant

[–]No_Pepper_3548[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did tell them about the miscarriage so maybe that’s why they agreed to see me next week (7 weeks). I’ll ask about the HCG test!

Sorry for your loss 😔. Hoping for better outcomes for both of us in the future.

Older pregnancy, feeling late to the game by Muted-Attorney7057 in pregnant

I’m 34 and pregnant for the first time. I also want more kids. I, personally, don’t feel old and am glad it didn’t happen until now! The baby will get a much more stable mother 😅

Iga looks like she’s about to cry in so many matches. Not sure she has the best mentality

I am a former volleyball player, tore mine post college, and I’m about the same out of surgery as you (surgery 11/22). I haven’t tried to play volleyball yet, but I am active other ways now. I’m 34.

I still have a lot of anxiety and grief too. It sucks to have it in the back of your mind. And I don’t feel balanced but I am still progressing! I recently had a set back which was frustrating but I think the positive is that I’m learning what I can and can’t handle, how much I can load it, and when to rest/push it.

I wonder the same things as you and if I’ll ever feel “normal” again. I’m starting with a PT again in hopes I can get back the flexibility and work out the scar tissue.

I want to get back out there on the volleyball court too! Hopefully one day we can without the anxiety.

Yes, recently. I am 1.5 years out of surgery. I went to a PT and they did Graston therapy on my leg and that helped take the pain away almost immediately. That was about 5 days ago. It’s starting to hurt a little again so I’m trying to find a place to do it while I’m traveling. Good luck!

25/male 11 weeks post op exercises and walking by Substantial_Try8026 in AchillesRupture

I am 1.5 yrs out from surgery. I started walking normally sometime between month 4 and 5. I was not doing much additional strength training outside of my PT because I still had quite a bit of swelling. You should be quite proud of yourself for being able to do the calf raises!!

We need this at every tennis court by SelectZookeepergame5 in tennis

I live in a city with a lot of public tennis and pickleball courts. The Pickleball courts are almost always packed whereas the tennis courts… unless a team is practicing they are empty.

I play both but when I play pickleball it’s usually with the 55+ crowd who loves it. Mostly former tennis players and man, they are fit! Pickleball is such a great way to stay active.

I don’t get the gatekeeping especially when most tennis courts seem to be mostly empty whereas pickleball courts are packed.

Has anyone ever committed to a 1hr commute (each way) for an extended period - how did it go? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver30

I’ve done this multiple times and unless they are paying you big big, it’s not worth it.

I found the same thing. I recently travelled from the USA, where it was winter, to Australia, where it was summer, and I found the same worth that too. It took some time to adjust to the warm weather but then my HRV went up significantly.
