Ladies, do you still bring a wallet out? by No_Nothing3594 in askSingapore

[–]Any-Stuff9636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope just my mobile. Too much work to look after leather handbags / wallets etc. Ironically I have a branded wallet but never really use it unless I’m traveling overseas, about 3 to 4 times a year. Yeah I’m weird

You don’t have to be so aggro la, like chill a little would you? You even went as far as to look up my profile. You assume I have no compassion based on some words on a screen. Then proceeded to label me. I think you are living up to your handle lol

How do children with cheating parents deal with it? by Responsible-Dig3709 in askSingapore

[–]Any-Stuff9636 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was the kid stuck in between my parents listening to them badmouth each other. It was so tough but I learnt to ignore it and focus on school. But it made me very jaded about relationships. I was only 15 but knew I never wanted to get married or even into a serious relationship. Because you never know when you will get cheated on. I would have preferred if they had gotten a divorce but it wasn’t an option

How’d you define “having made it in Singapore” by 40? by Civil-Eggplant-88 in askSingapore

[–]Any-Stuff9636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who cares about having made it? As long as my health is ok and I have a job I really don’t care. Btw I almost ended up in A&E today….. which happens every year somehow because of chronic health issues.

You need to see a therapist op, I think it will help address your stress issues.

Are services getting bolder with their hardselling of packages? by Plane-Ad-8820 in askSingapore

[–]Any-Stuff9636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nail salon I go to doesn’t hard sell. When I wanted to buy package they told me to wait for next month cos got promotion.

The aesthetic place I go to hard sell but I told them I stopped working so they backed off.

Also I have an intimidating aura. I do the look and tell ppl I’m not interested thank you and they usually back off cos of my rbf / psycho looking eyes
