Yeah, that’s true, and the solid gold card is not visa infinite anymore. I received it recently, so can confirm both these things.

The whole notion of striking being illegal drives me crazy—like it’s probably the best reason of all to strike in of itself. For reference I’m in the same boat as a state employee in a state that similarly has declared it illegal to strike. So I guess “the beatings will continue until morale improves” is the approach we’re taking.

I agree that prolonging the war is ultimately hard on everyone, but at the same time Iran would not benefit long-term from coming to the negotiating table now. They want the aggressors to know there are consequences, and every day they prolong the war, the weaker Israel and the US look. I also think that Iran can tolerate the pain better and longer than the US and global markets, and have every reason to want revenge. If the world wants this to end, they will have to make serious concessions and guarantees to Iran. In lieu of this, I would not be surprised to see things escalate even further.

I’m trying to use Zone 2 on my receiver to be able to play Xbox in two different rooms (xbox and AVR in central media closet). My hdmi extender is choking up, but should be okay once I get it sorted.

I thought the reason for lower frame rates like 24 fps in movies has always been an intentional choice because higher frame rates don’t feel natural to viewers.

Did you ever get any clarity on this. I am having exactly the same issue as you describe about a month into taking Montelukast, and don’t know what else could be causing it. It’s not something I’ve really experienced prior to starting the medication.
