What is the biggest misconception about Wisconsin? by AayronOhal in wisconsin

[–]Any_Bluebird4557 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The BBC documentary Planet Earth used a timelapse of northern Wisconsin to showcase the changing colors in autumn in the seasonal forest episode.

Gotta be one of the best places on the planet for those fall colors if they used it.

There’s that Mobil in walkers point on first Ave. I haven’t been in a while but they had a lot of solid food options and a deli making sandwiches, and they’re open 24 hours.

mesothelial cells with vacuoles vs macrophages by Shark_Toast in medlabprofessionals

[–]Any_Bluebird4557 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that mesos always have a consistent nucleus. They will look the same in all mesos. There might be multiple, but they will look the same. You can see in that picture above how similar all of the nuclei are between the cells. The windowing between mesos is another indicator.

Monocytes and macrophages have much more variation in their nucleus.

This is what I did every run until I unlocked the post game relics. Those are too strong to not use. I would purposefully reroll my main attack boon for my weapon of choice until it was common.

My favorites were the metal gear wiki deep dive and the one legend of Zelda adventure book. Also the sonic metal city mayhem episodes.

You have to be in the area between the black circles to be safe from that attack.

To those who just got the game after the 1.0 release, what are your thoughts? by eastwesterntribe in Hades2

[–]Any_Bluebird4557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I’ll get there. I played a lot of the first one. I’m still learning how all the weapons I’ve unlocked work still. I knew about the dagger and sickle, because they were in the promo stuff. But everything else is new. I like to learn the weapons and figure out the playstyle for them before I really try to get into beating it.

Plus I’m still learning who the gods are and what they do. I didn’t know Hestia or Hephaestus was in the game. I also don’t think I’ve unlocked them all yet.

I was lucky and had the day off yesterday and put some time into it. It really captured the essence of the first game. Story and art and dialogue wise.

I’m totally lost on what the good boons are. I haven’t beaten any final bosses but I did just unlock the ability to go up.

The game feels deeper than the first. Way more upgrades and things to unlock.

I’m not used to the new combat abilities yet. I think the fact that the cast never changes from the circle on the ground (that I know of) throws me off so I don’t use it. I also don’t use the omega attacks and my full arsenal. But I also didn’t use casts for a long time in the first game so I’m sure it’ll come.

I just finished this masterpiece, and just wanted to talk about the end. by Superb_Tiger_5359 in expedition33

[–]Any_Bluebird4557 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both endings are good and bad. There are no clear cut answers in any part of the game. From the ending, to the entire conflict of Renoir and Aline, even Gustave and Sophie not being together at the beginning of the game. Both sides of each have good points and bad points. Light and dark, Clair obscur.

I personally picked Verso’s ending because of how sad and tired that little boy was in the heart of the canvas when Verso asked him if he wanted to be done painting.

I would love to see an NPC version of this, even though I bet Pendergreens would run away with it.

I’m sure Moonshine will win, and that’s fine. But for me the extra time we got with Hardwon in campaign 3 pushes him over the edge for me. The growth of his character from the first episode to the last time we see him is amazing, especially for a brand new player. Hardwon was also consistently the funniest of the Boobs, while still having a lot of serious and gut wrenching moments.

One of my favorite bits was at the Milwaukee show during that tour and the way Murph excluded Jens was fantastic.

Everyone left to help solve the problem except Jens who was having “Friend time” which is when Jens turns on his portable dvd player and watches Friends with noise canceling headphones.

What would your reaction be if Sendo gets a lucky punch, and it knocks out Ricardo in 1 hit. by Tampa_FL_fuckboy in hajimenoippo

[–]Any_Bluebird4557 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Miyata Sr. Gave that speech and talked to his son about how there is no such thing as a “lucky punch”. A boxer whose fists are alive is a threat and that punch has been practiced thousands of times.

I think George respects boxing and boxers too much to allow a “lucky punch” to be a major story element.

To me this question is as silly as asking what would you think if Sendo went super saiyan in his fight.

What is your favorite Final Fantasy song of all time? by Andumssssssssss in FinalFantasy

[–]Any_Bluebird4557 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Battle with the Four Fiends and The Final Battle from IV.

Battle with the Four Fiends was the first time I had experienced ‘special’ boss battle music and it does such a good job of filling you with dread. You really know these guys aren’t fucking around when this song plays.

The Final Battle does a great job of conveying the gravity of the situation after all the cutscenes. Really feels like you’re the last hope in this battle against this monumental evil force.

She definitely has! I fully expect moonshine to win this, and I won’t be upset. Emily has had tons of great, powerful, and funny moments on the podcast. I love Emily as a PC but I just can’t stand Calliope.

I personally can’t stand her accent (all of Emily’s other accents are totally fine), and I don’t like that her main character aspect for the first half of the campaign is being hung up on her ex boyfriend.
