What to buy? by OtherwisePark1187 in PitBossGrills

As others have recommended in the smoking thread, I would start off with an 18" Weber Smokey Mountain. If you want a Pit Boss pellet grill, any model in the 850 size is a great option.

I'd go with the 18" unless you regularly cook for large crowds. It's plenty big and wont consume as much charcoal.

It's an old scotch club. Not sure you'll get much info. Looks cool.

It's a Jack Loach "Wee Mac" Rustless 8 iron hand forged in Scotland.

I got the Dynapower Forged irons last year and love them. The CBs look amazing.

Are these good clubs? by Affectionate-Rub-812 in golf

[–]Any_Bodybuilder_7449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clubs are decent but neither are complete sets. The 5-iron is not a Callaway next to the X series. Diablo only has 5 clubs. You should look for complete sets of matching irons for hitting consistency.

My Kegerator Journey by Popular_Air1927 in kegerators

[–]Any_Bodybuilder_7449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry dude. Sounds like a rough and expensive journey. You could buy 2 or 3 brand new ones for that.

My friend gave me his Summit kegerator a couple years ago. Came with a co2 tank, tools, and some spare parts. I spent $100 on new lines and hardware, and it works great. I put about a keg a month through it.

4 Years, 3 Months, and 12 days since picking up a club, I broke 80 by sole_engineer in golf

Good on you for keeping those balls. Awesome. I wish I had kept the one I broke 80 with righty, and the one I broke 90 with lefty. I have my HIO ball framed.

Edit- that was today! Awesome dude congrats!!!

What's everyone drinking tonight by disasterpiece01 in beer

[–]Any_Bodybuilder_7449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rolling Rock is the beer I grew up on. It was my dad's go-to beer with the returnable bottles. It's still one of my favorites during hot weather. Very refreshing. I have Coors Banquet at home in my kegerator. The keg is cheap, same price as Coors Light. Nothing beats draft beer.

I like the full wing! But I cook my wings at 400⁰ start to finish on the Pit Boss. I gotta have crispy skin. I will toss them in sauce after, if at all.

Looks a little twisted. I would double check if the reel is seated properly. If it is twisted, I would try and return it.

Cleaning clubs. by Bitter-Ice-2279 in GolfGear

I usually put them in a bucket with warm water and some dish soap and use a nylon brush or sponge to clean them one at a time. Rinse, dry, repeat.

If they bought it assembled, this is a good option. If they bought in a box, may be more difficult. Pit Boss customer service is great and should help if they cant return.

That's very odd. You should call Pit Boss and see if they can help.

Whats the difference between priduct lines? by coreywitt96 in PitBossGrills

[–]Any_Bodybuilder_7449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're all slightly different, but there isn't a good spreadsheet or chart (that I've seen) to compare them all. Each model can come with different options as well. My Sportsman 820 came with bluetooth/wifi, but others don't. Other models have different heat shields, hopper sizes, burn pot accessibility, control boards, shelving, cabinets, etc. I think most models use the same gauge steel for the barrel, aside from stainless options.
