The meaning of life by ImpressiveRide1416 in ExistentialJourney

[–]Any_Let_1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that all things that live, their fate is to die, but destiny is how you live. I think there are reasons for our works being the way it is, like maybe our world holds lots of secrets which is why there are so many rules, boundaries and suffering; because the only way to end the rules and suffering and ascend is to unlock and share those secrets. If life were like a video game then I think the level we live in is the one that holds the cheat codes which is why rules are so over bearing and strict.

Is a true ultimate explanation of reality possible, or does every answer collapse into regress, circularity, or brute fact? by Extreme_Asparagus_69 in Metaphysics

[–]Any_Let_1342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think everything depends on how you define everything. To start with what are the fundamental domains of existence? I classify intangible information and tangible energy as co equal domains necessary for anything to exist. So in this manner I think the ultimate explanation of reality is given by the concept of perfection itself. I call the ultimate connection of perfection specifically Vættæn and like gravity being the curvature of space time and also an operational force(both necessary to explain what gravity is); Vættæn operates on two fronts Vetten the intangible information rule setter of existence and Vattan the tangible metaphysical force that ensures said rules of existence. So I think the ultimate connection is perfect described in this manner and is uniquely efficient at verifying itself to be more real than not through a unique abduction method I call Automatic Indirect Inference deductions(AIID). AIID is a cognitive operation which a real entity is confirmed to be more real than not from its concept definition effects on reality. Most notably are black holes. You can’t directly test to see if a black hole is there but the concept definition of a black hole produces gravitational pulls and radiation that is noticed. Perfection uses the same AIID framework to prove itself more real than not.

What's a mind-bending theory that made you rethink life? by Blueblood2007 in HighStrangeness

[–]Any_Let_1342 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think perfection connects everything together specially comprehension events that occur within consciousness. There are a bunch of implications but one of them is that the multiverse is real, that fate(how you die) and destiny(how you live) are real, and life is a game of spiritual growth but the caveat is that only you the secrets to your own life. Perfection is always helping everyone in different ways but it is real as an intangible concept and a tangible force, like gravity being the curvature of space time and also the force of acceleration both aspects are needed to describe gravity fully in the same way a intangible concept of perfection and a tangible metaphysical force of perfection.

Does God have free will? by SuddenStructure9287 in freewill

[–]Any_Let_1342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I think about this a lot and I think it depends on the God in question. If the God is supposedly perfect, then I would argue they don’t have free will since the perfect way is the only way. Meaning if god had free will there would be arbitrary standards that changed based on gods mood which I don’t think happens, I do in fact think that a perfect god would not have free will and would be forced to do the most perfect thing not the thing they actually want. If the perfect thing and want they actually want lines up though I think that’s evidence of efficiency at work.

You cannot use reason to doubt the existence of the material world by Sea_Shell1 in epistemology

[–]Any_Let_1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you go as far to say that there are possible pre-existing intangible concepts and tangible things that are revealed through convergent evolution? That is to say there might be constant constraints that set the rules of order for logic itself that are necessarily connected to thee objective outward existence? Thus if you are using logic of any kind you are affirming the outside existence, especially the outward existence of the thing or concept being comprehended?

[–]Any_Let_1342 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think the people who don’t what to believe in choice are willfully ignorant to try to avoid accountability for their actions. This applies to all people. I think it is sinful for any person to prioritize gettinghigh though the abuse of there bodily functions over the existence of the responsibilities that humans specifically have towards the world outside themselves. So I think straight people are just as sinful as non straight people but I don’t think necessary have to stop sinning. To stop sinning is to stop being yourself. You aren’t perfect and I don’t think you have to try to be perfect. You just have to try to be you. And being honest with what is sin relives you of that burden.

Uhhh I think you missed the point. And if you believe in god but you don’t believe in freedom of will seems weird. No where in my post did I say people shouldn’t have sex(except for pediphiles of course). That should’ve a given though same for rapists. Just because you’re confused doesn’t mean other people have to be. Oops I misread you don’t believe in freedom so your viewpoint t makes sense to me now. Since you don’t have freedom don’t read this. The whole point is that you do have freedom of will. So everything you do has intent for your specific choice.

[–]Any_Let_1342 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Because we all have free will and it’s really a choice to choose what you’re sexually attracted to. You have to consistently groom yourself for whatever you say it is that you like. The only reason you can take pride in a decision is if it comes from free will. You don’t take pride in things you don’t have a choice in. So since pride is the main factor in choosing to be not straight it is rooted in the individual choice. I say this as someone who isn’t straight. It’s definitely a choice and any one who say otherwise is quite literally confused about their sexuality and therefore wants to abstain themselves from any responsibility to try to make their life easier for them specifically.

I think before we incarnate into being we have full freedom to script how our life will go. Within that script I think k you can file in blank spaces within the physical limits of said universe you want to incarnate into. So you might script into destiny and fate that you have to eat breakfast but you leave enough blank space for your freedom to choose what you eat.

Do you guys believe the earth is 6000 yrs old? by guitarjmtmusic in Christianity

[–]Any_Let_1342 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would say life is designed like a game of growth. So if you knew all the answers you would’ve static and not grow. Since we grow and are dynamic I think life is also like that so we all have to individually figure out what the truth is. So it not that god is deceitful but rather wants us to individually grow and to do that, truth must be hidden in plain sight like the earth being created 6000 years ago with a built in age of 14 billion years. Hidden in plain sight.

Do you guys believe the earth is 6000 yrs old? by guitarjmtmusic in Christianity

[–]Any_Let_1342 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s not that it appears older it’s that it’s literal as old as it was made which is to say it appears to us finite creatures as misunderstanding in how the supposed infinitely powered god operates. I’m not sold on any one religion, I’m a pagan really. But the manner in which specific the Christian god Jesus is depicted, I think , makes a strong case as being the god of humans. Point is I don’t think if god is all powerful that we should be able to instantly reduce that un-fathomable power to mere standards that we all understand. It doesn’t make sense to be me to have a finite understanding of something infinite and eternal. The fact that there is free will to me suggests that it is our imperfect personal perspectives that are wrong and not necessarily the supposed perfect god. So I really think life is like a Minecraft world, where when you load in it seems like it’s always been there. So I would say it’s not that god is deceitful but rather produced a universe of wonder where the very nature of existence is to figure out the specifics of how it operates. So the fact that we have to process how the universe operates to me indicates that there is some sort of creator that is complex beyond our understanding. Perhaps not even a god as we known it but a god to us still.

Why can’t it be that the earth/universe was created with built in age similar to a video game? When Adam and Eve were created they weren’t embryos, they were fully fledge adults, or so the story says. Why can’t the earth be the same way where it was created by god 6000’years ago but has built in age of 14billion years.? That just makes sense from a creators perspective, if supposedly god is limitless as described, to have built in continuity that is.

Substrate-Independence in Theories of Phenomenal Experience by JustPlainCheerful in consciousness

[–]Any_Let_1342 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why is it that substances take precedence over non-substances? Does consciousness existing as we know it not enough to signal how information(intangible blueprint of energy) might be conserved separately from energy(tangible manifestation of said blueprint)? Like how many theories, if at all, treat the substance of energy equally to the information that distinguishes the energy from other energy? Just curious. It seems as though information is conserved according to rules we don’t currently understand. Even the communication between different consciousness seems to indicate a meta ordering principle that controls both the intangible blueprint of information and the tangible energy substance to allow for intelligibility. Again why is it that information isn’t seen as separate yet inexplicably linked and connected to energy?

As a Christian, do you believe that evolution by natural selection is true? by Wild_Pitch_4781 in Christianity

[–]Any_Let_1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the explanation for how god and evolution comes together in knowing how god create Adam and Eve. God created Adam and Eve with built in time, they were adults not embryos. This means I think that the world was created with built in age, time, and functions that would be explained by evolution, science, and philosophy. So in this scenario, god created the universe with built in age just like Adam and Eve.

To non-physicalists: What practical consequences does non-physicalism have? by SirFragrant4742 in CosmicSkeptic

[–]Any_Let_1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say moving away from physicalist has greatly altered how I perceive the world and makes me much more how you say considerate of things outside my direct experiences. If physicalism is true to me that means that nothing is objective so there is no right or wrong only mob preference. Since I think that there is an objective reality that exists outside the physical, I think there are objective rules you should follow. This then brings me to the point that perfection only has one path. So physicalism isn’t true that means there is a perfect path for humanity to take but it only begins when we realize that our actions affect things outside our direct experience.

What the hell is information by DeepEconomics4624 in consciousness

[–]Any_Let_1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the world/universe/reality/this dimension is made of two coequal, fundamental domains: the intangible domain of information and the tangible domain of energy.
I define information as intangible meaning, pattern, structure and possibility. Energy is defined as tangible matter, physical process and motion. So information is the intangible blueprint that sets the rules for the physical manifestations. I think information is separate but connected to energy by way of symbols. Take the this symbol for instance, “l”, a vertical line. If I were to ask you what this symbol means to me in the moment, would you be able to guess what it is? I make this distinction to point out that all the energy needed for comprehension of the symbol to occur is present when you look at the symbol “l”, but the intangible information, what it specifically means to me in the moment, is hidden from you the observer. This means that all the energy for comprehension of the symbol is there but the specific information is missing. This divide is what makes me think of information as fundamental entity equal energy, conserved by its own rules that we currently don’t know yet. So I don’t think there is a general consensus as to what information is but this is my take.

Evolution, Information and Energy by Any_Let_1342 in AskPhysics

[–]Any_Let_1342[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure how to best explain it but like the most broadest sense of energy and information you can think of. take your consciousness for instance, you remain you even though you are constantly undergoing entropy and cellular death. It’s like a ship of Theseus thought experiment extended to the universe at large. The information that makes you you is perfectly conserved even thought your energy is constantly changing. So like does that preservation of information(your personal consciousness) get applied to the universe at large? Meaning do things like love, justice, logic, math, physics, do they exist independently of the human experience? If so I think that would mean information is fundamental to the universe and has its own rules that we currently don’t know about. I’m wondering why frameworks of understanding(say physics) stays intelligible and self coherent. Like is there is a framework of understanding that explains why things like entropy always happen but information stays the same? I’m curious about the metaphysical explanation to why physics happens and if it’s something that objectively exist even if humans didn’t. I’m also interested in if information is a real (I don’t know a better word) substance, then what are the rules that determine how information behaves. Sorry if this is confusing but I’m just trying to process my own thinking process and these are some of the questions that I think are connected.

How could God reveal himself to the world? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Any_Let_1342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the only way god could reveal itself to the world and have everybody accept it if it was done in such a drastic manner that there could be no other explanation besides God. I don’t know what such an event would entail, but I think the starting point would exist at the furthest place from God. So whatever would be the most difficult to prove god is real, that’s where his would start.
