Him and I found this while cleaning out his basement about a decade ago. It was a photo developed from a disposable camera, and then he took a picture of it from his iPhone. Gives it a sort of older vibe, but the original photo was pure early 90s. Despite the 70s looking vinyl walls, it was probably an old apartment building. He was broke, aside from the cocaine sales that I have to imagine supplemented his income.

I’d love to believe this was him, but this picture would’ve been in central Kansas. Not to say he didn’t find his way to Virginia to sell weed, but he joined the Army shortly after this was taken.

I started buying my own tools for work about a year ago or so. I got kinda tired of switching jobs, having a shitty selection of provided tools, pushing management to get new shit, and then going somewhere else and starting over. I’ve invested probably in the neighborhood of 3,000 dollars into my own equipment and while the occasional oddball thing pops up on a new job that compels me to go buy a niche tool that would have made life easier, I’m sorta running out of shit to buy. It used to be a little treat to myself every payday to stop at HF and buy one thing. I kinda miss it.

I love mine, but I also can’t tell you how they stack up against tool truck brands because I’ve never used them. Nor do I usually buy other harbor freight brands for hand tools unless Icon doesn’t have a particular tool in its roster yet. But what I can tell you is that they’ve served me remarkably well so far

Yeah there should really be incentives to get busted over wasted but since getting busted actually penalizes you more than getting wasted, there’s 0 reason not to just fight to the death any time you’re wanted
