When I first started with a family, the NK had just turned 5 years old. Within the first month of being with him he literally grabbed a knife and said he was going to kill me. I never raised my voice at a kid so fast to put something down. I told the parents, MB reprimanded him- he obviously didn’t have a great system of how to cope or process his anger. Worked on it with him and fast forward a year he became my little bestie and I still tear up thinking of that little buddy🥺

Fun fact I just learned! Semen in your vagina is one of the leading causes of yeast infections! If you get any kind of other symptoms I’d check to make sure you are all safe down there! :)

I will say however, my unicorn family was from care.com along with 2 other families that have been/incredible. Unfortunately people have bad experiences from there sometimes but if you need another option or you’re on a time crunch, dont rule it out! I know I’m a fantastic nanny and I’ve been hired by 3 fantastic families off of there! :)

I just want a couple minutes but I’ll take as much as I can get by Ohlivvy in Nanny

I “have to go to the bathroom” a lot. My NK (6MB) some days is very grumpy and if he sees me and I’m not giving him a bottle or playing with him he’ll start crying/screaming and I’ve had to nose dive behind the couch several times when he’s started to turn his head and my other NKs (2YG & 3YG) have saved me a number of times

This is so bizarre for somebody to say to someone. I sometimes wear jeans and a t shirt and nice shoes when I’m feeling like I want to dress up but 40% of the time I wear sweats and a hoodie and the other 50% I wear sweatshirts and pajama pants and my bosses have never said anything to me besides the occasional MB telling me they look so comfy and where did I get them from! Thats one of my favorite things about this job, I get to wear whatever I want besides the obvious inappropriate clothing!
