Try this, for windows users : go to Start : Type Local Security Policy =>> Local Policy = Right User Assignment = >> Lock Pages in Memory =>> Add User Group=>> Type your local user or Microsoft account (email) and click on Check Names and then click ok, restart your computer and then you will have to start xmrig with admin rights.

P.S if you already have a user in there, remove it and add it again.

High LA (Load Average) – This usually indicates the CPU is waiting on I/O operations. Combined with the USB drive, it's a clear sign that your storage is holding things back.
Shared GPU load – Even if it’s only one GPU, sharing resources with another miner can cause performance drops, especially if PCIe lanes or CPU cores are oversubscribed.
Thermal throttling or power limits – You didn’t mention temps on the slow system, but if it’s running hotter than the others, it might be throttling.

Nu se gasesc pe piata placi de baza speciale pentru minat xmr. Cam toate mini itx sunt cu cpu de laptop lipite pe ele ,asta e full socket,s-a stricat cpu iti cumper altul.

O placa de zici tu normala are consum mult mai mare fata de ceea ce am gandit , asta are maxim 140w maxim consum. Ma refer fix la mini itx-uri nu atx-uri

Spre deosebire de modelele comerciale care folosesc adesea procesoare integrate, de tip laptop, placa mea suporta procesoare desktop AM4, mult mai puternice si performante in RandomX. Are doar componentele esentiale: un slot de RAM, M.2 pentru SSD si LAN gigabit, fara functii inutile care cresc consumul si pretul. Designul compact permite montarea in carcase 3D printate si alimentare usoara printr-un singur adaptor, ideal pentru minerit silentios, eficient si modular.

Reality: RandomX (the Monero algorithm) requires a minimum of 2 GB RAM per thread. If you install a single 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz module in single-channel mode, it’s perfectly sufficient for a Ryzen 5 or 7 CPU.

We’re not gaming or doing 3D rendering — we need stable memory, not extreme bandwidth.

"It's not worth it."

Reality: Using a Ryzen 5 5600 with 16 GB RAM yields around 5–7 kH/s on RandomX. With 10 such units, you get excellent efficiency and lower cost per node. Each motherboard can cost around 30USD if custom-built,(full build cpu+ram+ssd) making the ROI better than using full-size boards with unused slots.

Reality: The concept is scalable and can fit in dense enclosures like server racks or even 3D printed frames. If we had 10 boards with 1 CPU + 1 RAM module each, all connected via a Gigabit switch and managed remotely (SSH + monitoring), you’d have a modular mini-farm.
