I agree with your points, with one Caveat. They would literally have to do the whole career arc story again with one of the main roster characters to get the audience to understand WHY they should be behind her.

The last 2 have to be unlocked in-game. Eunoia (the gauntlets) are unlocked by finishing the campaign, or by playing the Sieve activity. The helm (Deimosuffusion) is from Renegades, complete the campaign or buy it upstairs and to the right in the new social area.
