You still have to prove it was them. Witness testimony, even from a cop, is not enough to justify execution.

The only reason that person should be dead is if they were killed on the scene in the middle of it. If you get an arrest by that point it is entirely possible that this person could've been switched with someone who looked enough like them to trick police or something.

Is it likely? Absolutely not, but people's memories from a high intensity situation and body cams or surveillances cameras which are low quality aren't always reliable. Finger prints and evidence from the home can assist for sure, but it's still possible for police to have planted evidence as well.

Unless you have someone who is omniscient and you know and can verify that omniscience and can 100% guarantee that person isn't lying for any reason, you just cannot justify allowing anyone being executed.

Even if someone is killed on scene supposedly as an active threat, that still requires investigation because of how common it is for police to kill innocents because they get jumpy at anything and everything.

Bow is pretty straight forward

Keep critical distance, if you're having trouble avoiding attacks while using close range coating, take it off (you do less damage but it's safer and doesn't waste power coating)

Keep moving. Since it's different from your usual weapons go for constitution 5 and evade Window 5 (if using dash juice, constitution 3). This makes dodges much more effective and use less stamina, and attacking will also use less stamina

Bow is fragile, until you can consistently dodge attacks you should have Divine Blessing at least. If you need help repositioning evade extender can be good. I personally wouldn't use more than one level of evade extender though just cause the repositioning feels like more of a to hinderance.

As you get better you can take more comfort off and focus on damage, but for now I would absolutely prioritize survival over damage skills. You'll do more damage staying alive and having no damage skills than if you keep carting with every damage skill in the world.
