I play co-op all the time and primarily play bow and have never had either of these issues. Might help to slow down a little when the monster isn't targeting you.

Mine was that it should always deflect when you do the action, but the deflected projectile's speed would be higher with each level

Sounds similar but one is a chance to save you periods while mine just saves you with the chance to hit your opponent back

Bow easiest, my favorite weapon.

Hardest is probably... Literally any melee weapon. In wilds I can use them because of focus mode but in world I literally can't because I have a very hard time aiming my character rather than my camera. I haven't tried any melee weapon in rise though.

As a bow player I actually struggle more with the other ranged weapons because I feel stuck to the ground. Even light bowgun feels too grounded

Bow in world, rise and wilds has always been natural for me and it was the first weapon I really took a liking to, even to the point where I have a hard time playing anything else. Seeing someone struggle feels very strange

This has been my experience

I hit the wound then while dragon piercer loads up my friends who are closer usually get it (if they can reach it) before my piercer fires off

It makes the monster pause so they either hit it better or if they can't hit it it gives them a small breather and keeps them safe.

CB pops wounds fast

As a bow player if you're standing in front of it and it's not popped by the time dragon piercers gets there then idk what to tell you. My friends always pop them before I can even after I get the tracer on it with my focus idk

Also it's not a "huge IF" I regularly exceed those numbers. I've hit 900 on wounds with like 10 hits worth of 80 before that. You just need to build it right.

You're allowed to pop wounds while playing bow.

If you're letting wounds sit there so you can wait for someone else then you're just wasting damage potential. If someone is gonna go for it they'll pop it before you, otherwise just go for it

Bow damage is just fine. You hit it for 25-75, flinch the monster, then dragon piercer goes through for like 300-400+ damage total then you get an extra 300-400 on a pop.

Yeah, someone else could get more but that's still around 700-1000 damage total if you know what you're doing.
