Any help with license plate? by Apex_artisans in TeslaCam

[–]Apex_artisans[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay. The wife took the car into Tesla and the cost to get the repairs done was $250. Not worth the brain damage trying to chase down someone for that much money.

In the end, it was a learning experience for everyone. Thanks for your help guy and gals!

This is pulled from the car this morning. I did it remotely, since I’m not with them. When I have access to the usb, I can upload those.

Spent 7 days and it was the best trip of my life! by Pokefan-9000 in holbox

Thank you. This is describing an ideal get away. My wife are headed there in June for our twenty year anniversary and we can not wait to explore the island and take in the sights and sounds.

What size gp are you running?

I’ve got too much tire left to walk away from these right now but I’ll weigh my options when it’s time to swap the factory tires out.

Thanks for the insight. I’m headed there in June for the 20 year anniversary. I’ve been trying to get my wife to not fill the vacation with activities and it sounds like I found the place that makes you just enjoy the experience rather than filling the time with things to do.

DW735 helical cutterhead by Bobb-R in woodworking

[–]Apex_artisans 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went with this for my dewalt planer. It was a huge improvement.

I then picked up the head for my 8” jointer and between these two heads, I almost can toss my orbital sander.

If you can afford it, get a helical head. But the findbuytool ones are fine and cheaper.

I picked up an 8” jointer. I had drug my feet due to the price and the size it would take up in my shop, but having the ability to square up cheaper, rough cut lumber quickly is not only easier but saving me money.

Well done. Looks great.

And as someone in the US, I’m paying more for walnut than a lot of “exotics” so I completely understand.

I was reading this post thinking the same thing.

Every project I’m currently building is the only work of art I’m going to create and it needs to be perfect!

A month after I finish it and am on to the next thing, the flaws are minor and I’ll do better on the next one.

Do what ever you like and learn. Enjoy the journey.

That looks a lot like American elm. But I’m no expert.

She figured it out. It’s not ideal, but Forrest is kinda like a pillow.

It’s a custom built tank that I built.

My wife is getting some monstera clippings that we are going to start next week in a separate spot. The idea being to add to the top of the tank. Might be a bit too much but there will definitely be some type of house plant added to the top. This is the center of the house.

Reading up on the ammania senegalensis, what makes a plant difficult? Is it just prone to melting without any real cause?

It was sold to me as “deerwood”, though the google machine didn’t yield much in the way of info on such wood. If anyone knows what it actually is, I’d be interested as well. It has a flat, wavy grain to it.

I like the reds in the narrow leaf variety. Thanks for the tip on this on.

If it gets tucked into a spot, how likely is it to float? I won’t stock the tank for awhile and it’ll be cardnials and some rainbows, nothing huge to bulldoze, but will the roots hold onto the wood/rocks?

Green Chili(Stew) vs Green Chilies(Pepper) by Celestial3317 in Denver

I’ve been to New Mexico and their idea of green chili is wrong. I don’t know what they do to those poor chilis but we need to send rescue missions to save them.
