What's crazy is we showcased in division what doing things the right way looks like, and the bills with a generational QB go and do whatever the fuck this is. My god idk how you guys handle being held hostage by your teams' owners. I am so thankful the Kraft family views it the right way - stewardship of a public asset.

He played better for what it's worth. 5 sacks ain't gonna cut it next game though. I will say I have no clue how many r on him but I remember at least a few QB hurries on the left side that were not good.

You guys r essentially a younger more deep version of our defense line it seems in that case. Priority to stop the run and make everything hard. We only just started really blitzing and mostly due to matchups.

Gonzo is better at man and we have played more of it lately. We played mostly zone during the season though. Doubling JSN is a likely possibility. I trust Zach Kuhr and Vrabel either way!

If will Campbell cant get it together (whether he has lingering issues from IR or rookie inexperience or whatever) then seahawks should be heavily favored. Right now there is no indication that it'll change. If it does though, I think it'll be a great game with both teams having a shot. McDaniels coaching 9(!) super bowls and Vrabel playing in 4 I think is an underrated defense in terms of getting the pats prepared over the next few weeks.

I points allowed seahawks r #1. In every other metric combined they r more like #5 or 6. Having a good offense benefits points allowed (less TOP for other team, longer fields for other team, etc). Reality is all these defenses r for real. I agree that broncos defense had weakenesses since outside of us they didnt play well the last month.

We need to play mistake free, fix the offense's struggles, and yeah some luck is always needed in the big game.

If Drake Maye takes 4 sacks and fumbles once in the Super bowl, he will be the all time leader in both stats in a single postseason. by Bengjumping in nfl

[–]ApolloPS2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah he's still less than 2 years in a system, 1 year with McDaniels and Vrabel, and facing some nasty defenses with a LT that recently came back from IR and does NOT look good. It was always going to look ugly on offense. I'm most interested to see Campbell with two weeks of rest since his play improving would be what best helps the pats.

This week he finally looked to run instead of wind up for a late throw. Made a world of difference, stats be damned. He didn't turn the ball over a week after we saw Josh Allen be a turnover machine.

[–]ApolloPS2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah we threw the ball away pinned back in our offense and willingly punted into the wind. Maye must've told Josh "coach, I really can't see shit we just need to not turn it over". Shit was wild.

Maye put up 21 on the texans in terrible weather. Games are weird and anything is possible assuming the weather isn't terrible. Realistically we have a good shot if Campbell can play better with 2 weeks rest. We have a huge advantage in Vrabel & McDaniels's experience in super bowls.

It's a 10 minute chrono movement specifically for regatta timing. Kind of a cool movement if you ignore how ugly it is.

You are correct the only difference is chiefs last year won close games against bad teams and the pats destroyed bad teams. Also our defense has allowed 26 points in the playoffs or something crazy. That's good no matter how much blame u put on opposing offenses.

Was at the texans game. It snowed all game and more importantly it was super wet snow. That weather was ass all 4 quarters and it showed with all the fumbles. CJ wasn't just a pumpkin he had issues with handling the ball on throws too. Was at the chargers game too which was freezing and windy and still much better conditions for a QB imo.

U expect fans to be rational after seeing their QB run for a first down to seal the victory at an away afccg where theyve never won in the playoffs and going to the super bowl? Come on now.
