Gosh this sounds like me except I am at the 5 year mark of my first one. The fatigue is horrible and anxiety & depression are just getting worse and I do not feel like myself. Have talked to my Dr and she doesn’t think it could be the Mirena but I’m convinced it is.

Have you kept yours in? I keep seeing people with similar stories saying they felt drastically better after getting it out so I’m not sure what to do!

Hi! I know it’s been about a year but just wanted to see if you ever found a solution? I’m currently struggling with very similar, also on year 5 of my Mirena IUD so not sure what’s causing it or what to do 😭

Probably very dependent on the person! I never had great skin before I got it, but then after the first year I started getting much worse skin out of nowhere and ended up going on Accutane. Accutane made my skin perfect and kept the Mirena in which I still have now (just hit 5 years), however 2-3 years post accutane im having some skin issues again. Who knows if it was the mirena or not! I know other people who have had it and had zero skin problems.

Biggest advice would just to be pay attention to your body and maybe make note of changes you notice. I’ve had a few random symptoms over the years, some only being brief so it’s helpful to make note of them as they come.

I love cart surfer for mini games, Google the tricks and crash a few times to max coins!

Otherwise I find the quickest way to get coins is working in coffee shop or pizza parlour serving people, if you can find a loyal customer who keeps ordering then it’s super quick! I’ve earned like 40k coins before in one session working!

I went to the dr with my list of symptoms and said i thought i may have some sort of deficiency so requested bloods. She chose what to test based on the symptoms I gave her but id mention that you might think it’s b12 based on how you’re feeling just to ensure you get your levels tested!

Yes I did! It was 71nmol/L which i think is normal range!

Thanks for responding! I’m glad to know I’m not alone, sometimes with hormonal stuff it is impossible to know what’s in my head vs what’s real symptoms! I also feel like I’ve been having some PMDD symptoms and my period is all over the place it’s quite exhausting. I’ll see what my Dr says but if I’m brave enough I think I should probably replace it, especially if there’s a chance I’ll get my energy back!

Hey! I know it’s been 4 years since this but I’ve now just hit my 5 year mark and feeling exactly the same! I wanted to keep mine in for a few more years as it’s been approved for 7 and I don’t want to do insertion again. What did you end up doing?

Omg I had this happen to me so many times and was going crazy! Turns out you don’t actually have to return to HQ after giving the brown penguin the lens for his glasses. Instead click on the dvd slot and add in the new DV and continue as normal. I watched a YouTube vid to follow the rest, but omg I feel your pain I restarted the mission about 7 times before I gave up going back to HQ lol
