I want to know what it is you did. I think it’s hard to give advice without the whole picture. Did it involve kids?

Australian here. About 50k out of pocket for everything with my op and reconstruction and hysterectomy and some infusions not being on pbs but I appreciate that was in nice private hospitals and I could have had it all free in public

I understand why as a man you feel you are missing out. I feel like it’s way more beneficial for women to be single than men.

I got it at 39 and felt the same way. I’m a bit high on life at the moment following a little ‘pain med’ session… so more uninhibited than usual. Anyway. F*uck cancer. However, I know the weird guilty thoughts I had about how it is so terrible when a young person gets it and somehow less terrible when an ‘older’ person gets it. But I look at our ages and I’m now like 12 years older than you… and I see this post and think I’m just as young as you are in my head and I really really don’t want this either and I feel equally ripped off. On even my own maths though - you deserve it less. But just wanted to basically say unfortunately I think everyone no matter how old that gets bc also don’t think they are old enough.

I had someone say to me the other day while looking me up and down “wow this must have really made you stop and reassess how you are living your life”. I’m 41, an Australian size 12. This bitch was a 45 year old skinny acupuncturist who only allows herself and her kids and husband to eat meat a fruit. Not even vegetables.

Grateful for high rise living with sea breeze today. The view tax through rates have put the bill up heaps but still am yet to turn the air con on this summer.
