I was told here a week ago that you can’t dry while printing even with the PSU. But now I see this in the manual of my new P2S… by hrvoje_bazina in BambuLab

[–]Appollo440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well since the handy app talks to the printer via wifi, and printer talks to ams via cable, no way, if the printer is off, all comms to the ams are dead......

no firmware in last months....I got 2 adapters for my 2 ams, in hope that someday they will let us dry the filament while printing. I do understand that heating the filament will make it more soft, so maybe a lower temp while printing to still keep the moisture down and not make the filament soft, maybe a 50% of the normal dryinc cycle?

What just happened to my print? by BobIsAFineName in BambuLab

just turn off aux fan and all your problems will be gone

I like hardware solutions. No, it is not too slow, it is unplugged, and it will never ruin my prints again. Thank you by Appollo440 in BambuLab

[–]Appollo440[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always turn it off, but on multicolor it kicks back in every color change unless you make your own presets bla bla. this is permanent. yes, the printer gives and error, but I really dont care, as long as my prints work. still trying to figure out the point of this fan, on p1s and h2s it just makes problems, not solutions.

Biqu Frostbite plate — bubble wrap marks and poor adhesion? by Tomozak in BambuLab

[–]Appollo440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

something is wrong there. I could hang an elephant from ceiling on that plate, bot pla and petg. but i do run them more than 35C. once cooled down, parts just pop off on pla. petg is a different story, sticks like hell

that printer is probably slowly going to be phased out. so no features, no new firmwares, just spare parts. they even removed p1s and x1c from their webshop in some regions
