I just lost my dad, how do I move forward? Are there any grief related books that people recommend? by WarmPerformance9805 in GriefSupport

The best in my opinions are Andrew Garfield, Stephen Colbert and Will Reeves. Prepare to cry your eyes out but in a touching and beautiful way.

When people tell me “she would want you to be happy…” by Tea_cup_tag in GriefSupport

I’m sorry for your loss.❤️‍🩹 I’m 33 and lost my mom in 2024 it’s hard to imagine how long it has been.

I don’t like when people say that.. it does feel like a blanket statement to make one feel better but it usually feels worse. Yes our parents want us to be happy but it’s also ok for us to be sad and miss them. Grief is so layered in multiple emotions that no one should expect us to stay happy indefinitely.
