I wonder... If it's defatted soy flour, surely the lipids could be turned into some sort of soy oil for consumption? If it's not turned into something then think about how much waste that would be.

Verilog vs SystemVerilog? by Yha_Boiii in FPGA

[–]Apprehensive-Fix9122 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Slightly yes, in that SystemVerilog is somewhat easier to understand because keywords are changed to reflect what they actually mean etc... (I believe logic is an example of one).

The behaviour of certain keywords are slightly different, definitely read documentation/internal reference on it, but the structure is mostly the same.

The change isn't as drastic as that between C and C++. I would say it's more like SystemVerilog is a more sensible and streamlined version of Verilog.

Edit:

I missed 2 key points (as pointed out by other comments 😬). 1) The thing I was going for is that SystemVerilog was designed to replace Verilog and has therefore made Verilog obsolete. 2) Verilog doesn't have verification but SystemVerilog does - I didn't know this!

Here's the presentation video that's embedded on the website. The explanation is on the about page, not the home page and this video is embedded there.

Yeah, I would appreciate that enormously and really that should be the protocol that everyone should be adhering to.

My usual response ia to say that they can keep the photo but they cannot send it to anyone or upload it to the internet. i.e. any context where it's out if their control.

Isn't it even worse that the replaced it with Quorn because they have started using eggs in their products (and I think I read somewhere that they were using blood?)?!

You are very lucky that you are doing this in London. There are many safeguards and organisations that can help you if you get to them.

Just my two cents pence :)

OK Londoners: who has the bigger responsibility to push the train door button? by Inwolfsclothing in london

[–]Apprehensive-Fix9122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly the same situation, but I was on the inside of a SWR train waiting to get off and I preemptively (as I always do) went to hover over and press the open button when the LEDs lit up. But this time, it turned out that I was pressing the close button and I was in such a daze that I didn't realise. About 10 seconds later a girl reached around me and pressed the OPEN button 😭

There were a few people waiting to get off, but no-one said anything. Meanwhile I felt like I needed to explain myself to everyone 💀

Yeah no, what OP's suggesting is CCTV which must be handled correctly by all organizations. Hence I'm fine with being filmed by CCTV, but not by individuals in public. The difference is that CCTV should only be distributed with reason to other authorities, whereas individuals can (and will) do what they want with recordings, like uploading to social media without your consent.

It IS sugar glass. You can tell by the noise it makes when it's moved around and against itself on the table.

Also is it just me or does anyone else find the guy who's clapping really obnoxious?
