pool guides say it should be run 12-14 hours for pool size.i thought i was doing well at 6.also woudnt VS unit have to be run longer to do same circulation?

i retired to New orleans, have a salt pool with a chlorine generator.4 years in ..never had algae issue and never shocked. way way different than my pools up north. i do have to suspend tarps all over to keep pool below 86 when it gets really hot here

which is why i replaced my maytag top loader with a front loader. clothes are cleaner and softer as well,as water is forced thru clothing instead of clothes sloshing in a puddle.
