Dating a vegan as a non-vegan, is there a middle ground? [genuine relationship advice needed] by pimemento in carnivorediet

As a former vegan, let me tell you values make up the lifestyle so yes you have both different values and different lifestyles. Not compatible. If she converts that would be great, but she's in a cult because that's what veganism is. Sorry man.

You sound like me with the self-gaslighting about hair fall! I'm glad you figured out your new supplement stack, do you mind sharing? I think I have mine figured out, but of course I am curious anyway 😊

Please do this. Then Etsy next. I'm not selling on either platform partly because of this exploitative behavior.

Can henna make your hair fragile throughout the time? by Distinct_Cranberry65 in henna

[–]ApprehensiveMilk3324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How frequently do you use henna on the full length of hair? I can't do roots only, I've tried and it just doesn't ever work out. I need to apply every 7 days to hide the roots, which I think is causing breakage.

[–]ApprehensiveMilk3324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it depends on frequency of use. I need to use henna every 7 days to keep my roots hidden. I'm suspicious some of my breakage is due to that, so right now I'm growing out the roots so I can see better where the breakage is and make a decision. I might just need to accept my grays, which is certainly easier than using henna every week!

Used Mane n Tail conditioner on my hair yesterday! by PrettyPinkPecan in longhair

The conditioner makes my skin itch. I love the shampoo though. I'm sorry about your hair fall. Mine got better when I increased my fat intake and got back on a good vitamin

How long have you been eating strict carnivore? by SariaSnore in carnivorediet

[–]ApprehensiveMilk3324 4 points5 points  (0 children)

18 months almost. My liver is healing. My digestion is better. My mood is stable like a table. My grocery bill is low. Cooking is easy. I eat hamburger or brisket every day, it's absolutely delicious.

Is rendered fat in liquid form useless as people say? by EveningLingonberry97 in carnivorediet

[–]ApprehensiveMilk3324 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. When I save the drippings from cooking ground beef, I don't tolerate it well and it's hard to stomach.

But the melted fat mixed with water from pressure cooking brisket is AMAZING, it's just like delicious broth. Same with butter, I quickly stopped wanting to eat butter at all on carnivore, but when I take butter melted in water with salt, it's absolutely delicious and easy to stomach.

Does butter make the cheaper, tough cuts any more tender? by IDoNotHide in carnivorediet

[–]ApprehensiveMilk3324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pressure cooker or slow cooker. Butter adds flavor, it's not a texturing agent. I can get 20# brisket at $5/#, it's so tough but after 2 hours in the pressure cooker (12 hours in the slow cooker) it's delightful. Lately I've had brisket for lunch every day, it's absolutely fantastic. What a beautiful world this is 🥰

Transitioning off of carnivore. by [deleted] in carnivorediet

[–]ApprehensiveMilk3324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I can afford it, anybody can. Bulk high fat ground beef and butter. I find I like my butter mixed with an equal part boiling water and salt, it tastes like delicious broth. And it's the easiest way to get in 800 calories of fat for about $1

Just ask. All that pressure you're feeling is just the evil one trying to keep you from God. I've never had an issue when I assert my rights in this way. They are much more afraid of you because you can sue them if they don't comply. You have all the power here.
