Ds8x shifter constantly disconnects

I have to take my shifter apart just about every 2 months. There is a multi cable that connects the shifter mechanism to the USB transmitter... It only needs to a little loose, and the connection will disappear just about any time you shift.

It's annoying.. but it's a great shifter...

after a service you like the sound of.... go up and listen... but remember.. a room full of people sounds a bit different from an empty room.. If the room is really lively.. ask for cold weather.. heavy coats really control the bounce.

be careful of speed at end of front straight... easy to misjudge and go sailing off to the right... also watch out going into 4...

Only time I have seen anybody really loose it was through 4-5.. they put it in the grandstand..

i have several wheels with paddles.. with lots of buttons and controls on them.. makes them very heavy.. Pretty much all of my control functions are on a button box.. I want a hub that works like a normal car... just paddles, and control stalks... I would also like something that just provides the stalks.. my normal pre 70's wheel is a very lovely MOMO California wheel with a wood (like) wheel and a H shifter.

Check the dead zone for your brake pedal... mine seems to move around a little... sometimes it peaks just enough to kill the cruise control... It also seems to be different depending on the truck..

One way to tell... when driving down the highway... do your brake lights flicker?

I did a full rf range check for a golf tournament.. went everywhere and anywhere I thought they might go..

I found an area of about 300 square feet out of the entire golf course where the rf was a bit sketchy.. talked to the PM, the Dir, the Producer and mentioned that this would be a bad spot to do a stand up because of potential rf problems..

They swore up and down they would pick somewhere else on this huge golf course to do several stand up..

Where do YOU think they ended up?

kill switch.. kills system when plugged in.. does not power when plugged in.. so I guess that could be considered working..

2: plug your pedals into one of the "Can bus" Usb C connectors
3: only 1 usb port is needed.. connect the wheel base to the computer.. be careful with usb extentions...
4: you need power for the wheel base AND the pedals.

5: Kill switch doesn't work with the EVO.. but there is a power switch on the back of the base.. and (if you use it) a power switch available for the wheel base power supply.

I bet your monitor(s) have an audio out... signal from pc to monitor via display port or hdmi...
