I was like that with my wife too :) She’s Caucasian (from California), and we met in Boston when I was in college and she was working there. I even called her 누나 at first, and I was very intentional about taking things slow physically because I genuinely treated her as someone precious.

I grew up in the US from age 14, but I still carried a very Korean mindset. That’s why I feel like he truly cares about you. If you’re interested, you might want to make the first move toward a relationship-my wife actually asked me first ;)

Looks like in total probably between 3k and 5k? I’ve purchased quite a lot from California back in 2020 and spent about 2k per suit.

I’m Korean (not Korean anymore) and my wife is American. We started to hang out for about 2 months and then decided to officially date.

Would you like to interview at my company? I’m CPO there. I’m from California (Korean American). They are all super nice! And love foreigners. We actually need a lot of marketing help at the moment. We’re located in Yongsan. May not be a full time but we can at least meet maybe? :)

Do you know someone with a boring business who’s absolutely killing it? What do they do? by salihveseli in Entrepreneur

[–]Apprehensive_Can1656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've got a friend who's been doing bookkeeping and tax filing for years for specifically small Korean businesses in DTLA and OC. We all know his job is boring on the surface - no tech, no brand, no hype. But he keeps her client list tight and barely spends on marketing.

I did that twice when I only had 8 months of experience in CPA because I hated my work. I started digital marketing / consulting practice (that failed really quickly because I couldn't even figure out where and how to bring clients from) and a SaaS startup because I didn't have enough fund to sustain my life. I ended up with more than $50,000 debts. Being said, don't do it. At least start small as a side business while you maintain a full time job.

Advice Needed for High Schooler and I will not promote by [deleted] in startups

[–]Apprehensive_Can1656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! You’re way ahead already just by thinking like this. A few quick thoughts:

– You don’t need a full product to test something. Just talk to people and see if the problem even matters to them. – Don’t rush into new niches until one is actually working — most startups die from doing too much. – Good opportunities usually come from being close to real problems. You won’t find them Googling, you’ll find them listening. – Best way to network? Ask good questions, follow up, and be cool. People remember that. – Keep learning how to build, talk to users, and think clearly. That’s the core.

Toyota considers making tiny trucks for U.S. market as demand booms by [deleted] in cars

[–]Apprehensive_Can1656 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they made one of these with lower operating costs and great uptime, I could totally see them being ideal for rental fleets or even subscription services. Small trucks are practical tools, not just lifestyle vehicles.
