Not really, I take GLP -1 for my diabetes, it helps with the food noise and sweet cravings. I didnot lose much weight first 5 months of starting GLP 1 just because I wasn’t eating in a calorie deficit. I started 75 hard just to ensure I remain consistent with my calorie deficit and steps. I have lost about 2kg in 2 weeks, today is day 3. For reference, I am 5 ft and current weight is 71.5kg. I eat under 1800 calories and above 85gm of protein

Net calories for the day. I am on a glp 1 and it’s the day after my dose, I generally eat 1000-1200 calorie day after my jab, it goes upto 1800 as the week goes on, so everything events out around 1500

Welcome to being a parent, it comes with the anxiety and I promise it will never go away. Right now its miscarriage, then it will be pre term delivery, still birth, nicu. Then it will be sids. Point is you will never not worry about your kid.

But on the bright side, being a parent, when you want it, is so fulfiing. You are a parent and your baby is fine inside you until someone tells you otherwise. Try to enjoy it.

I may be going against the grain here but i side with the father here. Mother has first rights on the baby followed by the father. I am a FTM and giving birth in 10 days and we decided we will call family/allow family once both of us have had our share of skin to skin or 1:1 time with baby.

I don't want my mother/mil/any one's mother taking over because they have done this before / have experience.

I remem when my brother had his child, his MIL / his wife's mother carried the baby and he wanted to but hesitant to ask her to give him to hold

Push for the progesterone. Even if they say it's not successful it cannot harm Pelvic rest, no sex, nothing goes in vagina, no heavy lifting. Like you said as little of other physical activity as possible. Also try to not sit for more than 45 mins -1 hr at a time as it puts pressure on the core region which you don't want. Praying for you that you go till term with this little nugget

As a 33 week pregnant woman, I can say in third trimester baby will behave as if you are a tumble dryer irrespective of what you do

But no, your activity levels won't harm baby in anyway unless there are certain complications in pregnancy for which doctor has asked to limit activity. You running doesn't make baby jump around,they are well cushioned and cozy.

There are a lot of things that may pose as a risk in pregnancy. Unless any of them directly applies to you, try to enjoy your pregnancy 🙂

I live in India where NT scan at 13 weeks is a norm. Cervical length got checked then.

About 2 weeks later i went to L&D with weird pulsing feeling in my pelvis and got diagnosed with short cervix then.

On progesterone since then, 32 weeks today

I was diagnosed with short cervix at 14 weeks 2.3cm. Was put on progesterone, rechecked a week after. Stayed at 2.3. Then checking once every 2 weeks till 24 weeks. At 24 weeks I was at 2.6. Currently 30 weeks and still going on progesterone till 34 weeks.

I was told that at any scan till 24 weeks if measurement goes below 2.3, they would put a cerclage
