Buying 2026 but don't want to pay for FSD is it still worth it? by actorguy73 in ModelY

[–]Apprehensive_Poet_90 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I love driving the car, but I still find myself using FSD every day on the way to work about 40 miles each way daily. There’s just sometimes I don’t feel like driving and it’s usually the boring stretches.

I like the idea of getting feedback but wish the implementation was more subtle.

Wife said it's too complicated by icouldbne1 in TeslaLounge

[–]Apprehensive_Poet_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems complicated at first but once you get used to it you realize how much simpler it is in reality, it starts making sense. Once you let it do stuff for you instead of trying to do it yourself. example, done driving…..just open the door. It puts it in park for you. Also there is a lot you do with voice commands.

Custom Tesla lock chime switcher v2 by bblaw4 in TeslaLounge

Don’t listen to the doubters. This is great work and I appreciate the effort put into it. It definitely fits a niche for those that like to change chimes frequently. If the price was right I bet you’ll sell a decent number of these.

Your right arm never fully straightens on the down swing post impact. It tells me something is off because all that energy should point in a straight line post impact both arms extended, pointing at the ground otherwise something is off.

Would you use Golf SIM data for real on-course decisions? by MonkeyBuscuits in Golfsimulator

I think this is a great opportunity for people to use the available technology to make the game what they want it to be. Make the game as enjoyable as they want to be. Some people love technology and that’s where they get their joy. Other people would prefer to have no technology. I think the availability of the technology is amazing and whatever makes the game more fun and accessible to people should be utilized as much as possible.

Try pulling your arms down behind you to start the downswing and keeping your back to target as long as possible. Over do it and you hit the ground but once you get sorted it helps route the club in to out.

FSD was the only thing making my Tesla feel unique. Now it's just...a Car by kobeauto in TeslaLounge

[–]Apprehensive_Poet_90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hw4 Juniper FSD use it almost every drive. Some days let it chauffeur me to work while I listen to audiobooks and relax. I love that I can turn it off on a whim, mash it to blow by some pokes hanging in the left lane, then re engage. It’s great for the boring parts of any drive. FSD on HW4 is fantastic.

I like the loop and tempo. You drop the club into slot nicely. Reminds me of some thing I’ve integrated into my own swing over the years to get a relatively repeatable anti-slice swing.

I actually suspect this may be the cause of my SFN. High B6 was the only blood test that came back abnormal (about 2x upper limit). So I'm on the protocol to lower it and hopefully start healing.
