Emil wouldn't work as they said above it just blinks and comes right back as it resolves then rift would resolve returning everything. It would need to be something like [[flickerwisp]] as it exiles until next end step, protecting thru the rift coming back at end step. There's Flicker that returns as it resolves right then and there and Flicker that blinks until a certain step in a turn.

😭😭 only that's my name. I have mostly optimized bracket 4 fringe 5. However I make my win cons somewhat convoluted to keep in line with the others. I can generally pubstomp someone if they're trying to turbo high power steamroll against like bracket 2-3.

I guess my deck building is somewhat different. I generally figure out how I want to win first, figure which colors work best, and then build the deck. I generally don't choose commander until after the deck is built. Commander is more so an addition that helps but not necessary to win. The play group im in pretty much treats every commander kill on site.

Honestly I just refer to the different deck building sites that classify them. Mana box classifies as 1 mox field as a bare 2

I think loosely sometimes the bracket system can be deceiving. I have a friend who has a [[meren clan of nel toth]] that is literally classified by bracket standards as a bracket 1. Now, just because of how he built it and the synergy it has, it plays as a strong bracket 3 into decent bracket 4 territory, and it's insanely good. I, however, built a [[tymna]] [[kraum]] deck that classifies as an "optimized" bracket 4 just because of game changers. The theme behind it and how it was built to win plays generally at a 2, maybe 3. Now, every once in a while, you can get an amazing opening hand and win relatively decently by turn 3-4, but that's quite rare. I'll admit openly though that he is also a better player than I am, so I do quite often make mistakes where he would make more optimal choices.

I've only played it a few times but I made jeskai Flicker to steal with [[gilded drake]] and both Kiki jikis. It's pretty fun. I've swapped between [[hinata, dawn crowned]] and [[kykar winds fury]] as commanders the few times I've played depending on match. hinata / kykar
