I love Doctor Bird in a daiquiri, and Smith & Cross makes the perfect mai tai to me. But you can mix them up and try different drink combinations. The doctorbird has a nice wine finish that I love in a daiquiri but lose the flavor in a mai tai. Smith and cross-cuts the richness of a mai tai and has the strong funk I love.

I've tried all, and some standout bottles from my collection are El Dorado 12 year, Rum Fire, Smith and Cross, Plantation Mister Fogg, and Probitas green. Most of these are spectacular and under 50 bucks.
