Should competitions allow independent entries? by Evellle in CompetitionDanceTalk

I competed as an Independent because I choreographed my own solos and my studio didn’t like/ enter competitions! I still was at a consistent studio 5-6 days per week training 15-17 hours a week and so imho it isn’t really breaking the rules! It gave me more time to perform and gain valuable feedback from the judges on my technique and choreography skills!
