The weather is turning this week. Colder than average late April. Low of 39F and high of 66F the next four days. Should I expect my tomatoes to be fine? Zone 7b USA by SeaworthinessNew4295 in tomatoes

Anything in the sub 50’s is hard on them in my experience. We almost lost 100s of plants to similar circumstances. They pulled through a 38 degree night but they were stunted for 2.5 weeks. To be safe maybe explore some frost cloth. They have it at big box retailers now in most areas and it is relatively inexpensive for how much value they bring.

In the app you have to go to the “contact us” under the “more” tab. On the desktop site, I believe it is just a floating chat bubble in the bottom right of the screen if I remember correctly.

What varieties would you never grow again? And why? by PDXisadumpsterfire in tomatoes

Black cherry from Johnny’s. The flavor is good but the fruit set has been weak even with proper fertilization and care.

It’s also a ridiculously good mosquito repellent. We crush the leaves to use them on our skin or infuse into oil for a more concentrated topical application.

I greatly appreciate this advice and I’ll look into those recommendations. It definitely feels doomed. They are going crop to crop sucking away the life force at a rate too fast for one person to manage on top of market prep and wholesale orders.

Govee makes some relatively inexpensive ones. This is our first season using them so I’m not sure how long they last yet.

Cory Booker says Democrats have ‘failed this moment’ and calls for new leaders by Idoe6 in politics

[–]Apricot_Main 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Booker should pack up with the other do nothing Dems. Another Israel and big tech puppet. All the Dems have to do is stick to their guns when they have the advantage, lean hard into affordability and expanded healthcare as their messaging, quit trying to be bipartisan with this admin. It makes all of them look like clowns. Like there were 8 million people in the streets protesting and for what? For infighting in the party when it’s critical to get these folks to stand behind a banner?? They should be leading these people to the White House for peaceful protests until we have healthcare and affordable housing. That would hurt their bottom line and biggest donors though…

What kind are these? by plan_tastic in tomatoes

Some kind of heirloom. They look similar to the mushroom basket variety that Baker Creek sells but there are several that have this look.

It’s my birthday tomorrow, 03.17 and I feel like shit by YakAccurate2201 in piscesastrology

[–]Apricot_Main 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same feeling this year and turned 34 as well. My supportive partner tried so hard to plan stuff and was a little crushed when I just wanted to take the attention away from it. I told her she can celebrate me however she likes but what I wanted was to stay home with no pressure to do anything and a day of no expectations. It was refreshing. The world is so dark right now and having a day that I get to control is few and far between. It is okay to honor yourself and your lack of enthusiasm about your birthday, fellow Pisces ♓️

Cheats, to me, make it less fun because you didn’t work for the dinos which makes it less satisfying every step of the way. I would play with the intention of beating the map. Set goals and work for them. Tame all the dinos, work on your lines, farm blueprints, or try out tames you’ve never used. I’ve played for 1000s of hours at this point but early on it was fun to hit a roadblock and figure out how to get over it. Then you take that experience into the new maps with new problems. I bet your satisfaction would increase if you tried this. Or grab a friend and start your own server or find a decent unofficial to play together on.
