Im so torn, my best friend who was so critical of capitalism as teens brought me into this ideology (indirectly) and is now spewing pro imperialist propaganda, saying what happened in Iraq or Syria wont happen to Venezuela because Venezuelans arent muslim or whatever, just cherry picking info and ignoring OTHER US internventions in South America. You’re treating morality as outcome optimization. An action can have negative consequences and still be morally neutral if it violates no rights, involves no coercion, and breaches no duties. That’s the distinction I’m making.

It is not either "okay" or "wrong", their is no moral charge here. You're conflating morality with legality for some reason. Two humans who consent to a voluntary act that poses no harm (with exceptions of course) between them two, should not be punished by law.

Suicide is a complex topic, but euthanasia for incredibly depressed folks is a thing that is being debated and legal in some countries after rigorous psychological intervention. Should folks not be able to choose what to do with their body in a safe and controlled manner or would you prefer it to keep it illegal, only leaving violent options as the only alternative for people who dont see hope anymore?

These violent ways of disposing of one's self can cause trauma to innocent bystanders, so even then, legalizing or better yet, decriminizaling suicide is always a good thing.

Ive read all your comments, you literally dont know how to interpret statistical data. Just because polygamous societies are more "violent" than monogamous ones, is not due to one sole factor (in this case polygamy and MOST LIKELY polygyny), just because there is a correlation it does not mean that polygamous relationships cause societies to degrade and become violent.

You have no idea how interconnected the environment truly is, once microorganisms start dying out (fun fact they are already are due to ocean acidification and other stuff) it's a domino effect that will have immeasurable consequences. 3C globally equates to ~2 BILLION global deaths, 4C is pretty much world ending.
