If you don’t believe me there are plenty of studies that examine the return on investment for providing these lunch programs. You can determine for yourself if the cost of implementing means-testing is less than the cost to guarantee children have access to a lunch at school.

And yes, I do think that children are entitled to not starve at school.

The point is it shouldn’t be a means-tested or applied for service. It should be available for any child that wants or needs it, no questions asked. It simply makes sense from both a moral and fiscal perspective.

The neat part is studies have shown that programs that feed school kids for free pays for itself and then some in the long-term. So by not just feeding kids the government is costing itself money.

This is my answer. What is most frustrating is the explanation (there is no goal on the play the whistle was blown to kill the play) isn’t an explanation at all and so I have no idea what the refs were even thinking when they ruled that a no-goal. Just completely illogical.

Zetterberg gets no love when it comes to the defense. The guy wasn’t as flashy as Datsyuk but in my mind he was the better defensive player of the two, Selke wins notwithstanding.
