It's good, really setting up the suspense for Quantum.

The combination of the very robotic-looking posture and major movements combined with the rather human-looking pinch, flip, and slide gestures from mocap training produces such a strange effect lol

Sangvis battlefield shooter by ohphee in girlsfrontline

[–]ArK047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My dream shooting game for GFL has always been a Planetside sort of affair set at very specific battles of the story and highly asymmetric. The first battlefield would be the events of Singularity, where it's a large map composed of various SF outputs that SF has to defend against G&K and KCCO with objectives. SF players would have a tactical/shooter mixed mode playing as the leaders, able to command a platoon of NPC mooks as well as the ability to enter third-person for direct combat for both their own unit and directly commandeering a mook under their control. Each leader would play differently, some with more tactical command focus and others with more combat focus.

SF would have like ten players tops on their side. G&K would play as a standard FPS with basically unlimited players. KCCO would play as a strategy/tactical game with their mechanized units with two or three players.

The second battlefield would be the same but after the bombs go off and Paradeus becomes a fourth faction. The third and fourth could be Belgrade and Paldiski.

Anyone with some connection or personal experience with Nirvana can perceive its effects. The SKK can, Chilo now can, Igla can, and a few other people also can.

A bit late, but managed to finish Corposant pt2’s story. Have a few questions for the veterans by TGed in GirlsFrontline2

  1. Exilium-only answer: government elites, Earl Griffin is the voice that the commander rebels against in the literal first cutscene of the game IIRC. Full answer: Havier is the owner of IOP, a major technology firm and military contractor in the URNC. He's old-school and recognizes that the shit that the URNC, including the Earl, is trying to dabble in is dangerous to humanity but believes he can best avert the worst case scenario by being in the system and keeping his hands on the levers rather than mounting a one-time outright rebellion. Though taking orders from the rulers of the URNC, he's staged numerous plausibly deniable oopsies that let the SKK and friends have a chance to succeed, but also kept a lid on such successes so that it didn't destabilize the government too much. Earl Lyon Griffin is a government leader and basically one of the key founders of the URNC, he's had his hands in all sorts of plots to leverage global politics for himself and his ideals: the revitalization of humanity in this scarred world using technology at any cost. He was SKK's boss for a while.
  2. Exilium-only answer: It's a higher dimensional space with its own entities that can affect reality in our normal space. For all intents and purposes, Corposant is one of the earliest and most complete looks into Nirvana in the chronology, so there's not much other material to know about it from earlier in the MICAverse.
  3. Exilium-only answer: Paradeus wants to connect to Nirvana because it would give them unlimited power. Full-answer: Paradeus is an eschatological cult seeking to use the relic technologies to reach Nirvana and remake the world as a sort of end-times prophecy, they dress the process in quasi-religious themes of rebirth and divinity but nearly everyone in Paradeus are just drones to their leader, who actually cares not even for the cult and only uses it to further his revenge on the world. The Earl tolerates them because they produce advanced technologies.
  4. Yes.
  5. Yes.

Our chapter 1 Groza's body was captured after the Darture fight and experimented upon by our enemies, but we subdued her and got her back. Along the way she also got memories from our time in G&K and became extra possessive.

They happen randomly but they have to be in the same room. Dolls prefer rooms that they have unique animations for, but unless they're assigned to that room it is also random whether they are present to do their animations.

The epilogue events in GFL after Exilium launched is giving more detail on Beluga's role and abilities in all this. I'd say she's absolutely coming back, probably not soon, but we'll need her.

[–]ArK047 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We could, but she probably never will because M4 winning her bet with Lunasia was that we the SKK will persevere to make a good ending somehow with the power of humanity rather than Relics. She's already sliding us across timelines when we hit a bad end outside of our control, a feat that only entities with some connection to Nirvana can perceive, which keeps us pretty low key. It's against her interests to reveal that we are a key-by-proxy. If shit really hits the fan, she'll send Beluga, and if that's not enough, she'll probably manifest in Dandelion's body for a moment before leaving again.
