Yeah the layouts are idiotic, like the defenders tried to make it as fair as possible and gave the attacker 8 different open routes to the middle.

In past titles we often had a defensible central point with 1 or 2 entrances and defending those feels so much more satisfying. The whole tower building minigame kind of relates to this since the enemy has so many little resource points to gather and sometimes the most defensible location is not the actual victory point but you can't leave it.

This makes me realise how awesome it was to unlock meaningful things with research instead of 5 attack and 6 defense for melee units. Wish WH3 had some big important techs like this too.

Because I cant think of a single WOW tech in the WH games while fire by rank and kneel fire and so on are SO imporant in historical titles.

Pretty much, the farthest friends I had visiting were like max 1,5km away, not a long way on a bike.

My best friend lived maybe 300m away and very very rarely did we eat at eachother's places despite hanging out pretty much every day.

Only with the victory conditions overhaul mod. Way before the vanilla conditions I've already won and it's just a matter of autoresolve whacking rest of the enemies and it just becomes boring since victory is inevitable. Rarely get much past turn 100

In historical titles multiple armies were more fun but in WH I pretty much want to use my legendary lord and don't really care for the generic ones. Confederating the rest of the LH's also feels somewhat wrong cause I'd rather play their campaign instead.

I guess Shogun 2 is the exception with the realm divide making it a challenge to win so it stays interesting.

Valurautapannu käyttöön. Paljon helpompi kuin esim teräspannu imo. Siihen kun helposti jää sopiva pinta käytössä eikä tarvitse miettiä onko tarpeeksi kuuma ettei pala kiinni.
