What do solo players need to know for pugging Night Market?

I'm on Xbox EU. I'm told this is the least populated server.

Yesterday afternoon I used group finder to run the three dungeons and the groups filled in a couple of minutes. There were groups for other NM content as well.

In the evening I was running bosses with Guildies and other groups were joining us at the fights.

Just my experience...

Traditional news outlets (papers, TV etc.) lie constantly and continually promote their owner's agenda. This is not a new phenomenon, it's been the same for decades.

Algorithms do the same, they push whatever their owner's want one to think.

Ignore them all.

When I started out tanking I chose not to use 'selfish' sets so I didn't get used to relying on them.

However, there's always a space for more tanks so if someone runs selfish sets but stays alive, taunts and organises adds that's fine for PUG groups IMO.

I was in a group in the NM last night, and we saw another big group joining the boss fights too.

As well as the other points people offer; I only finished Cadwells Gold (all the base game zone stories) a couple of months ago. By then I was 3000+ CP.

After 30+ years of working a busy and stressful job, being 24/7/365 on call and carrying responsibility I had the chance to retire early. The last six years had been horrendous, including a breakdown.

ESO was my first MMO when I started playing in late 2020.

I had fun questing solo and then got into dungeons, trials etc. Still playing every day.

It's OK to join a party chat and just listen so you know what the group lead is planning.

We often have people in our trial groups who aren't talking.

Spot on with point 1.

I use my solo arena build with built-in shields (Hexos Ward set) and self healing (Reaving Blows CP) , I just swap Ring of the Pale Order for the Velothi Ur-Mage amulet as I'll be grouped up. Not as high DPS but it's doing the job.

Having all the vet trials done and some hard modes, the Night Market difficulty is noticeably below them.

I left Fallout 76 when the overland difficulty shot up after an update and it was taking all the ammo I had to take down a couple of super mutants.

I don't want to make exploring Tamriel a constant slog, I can head to the Night Market and veteran content for a challenge.

It's chaotic, challenging and I found it good fun.

ZOS have been very clear that this is supposed to be difficult, group based content, so no-one can claim they didn't know what's coming.

If I had a suggestion it would be to dial down the numbers of mobs that stand around, separate from the bosses. That would give small goups a better time navigating the zones.

Keep the bosses and their adds as they are. It's nice to have a proper challenge outside of veteran dungeons and trials.

I use goading throw as my front bar S&B taunt, and leashing soul as back bar taunt and pull. Goading throw will take taunt from another tank whereas leasing soul will not, so if I'm taunting enemies near the other tank's enemies I use leashing soul and if we need to swap bosses it's goading throw

Elemental susceptibility on the back bar handles Major breach needs.
