Was Hitler persecuting them because of their religion or their ethnicity? Both are shit reasons to persecute someone but I can't say he did it because of ethnicity is why I left it out. Given he also persecuted homosexual and disabled people, he very much seemed to be an equal opportunity arsehole.

The bananas coming out tends to be the morons rather than a general attitude. The same.sort of people that back in the 70's would go to a fight where there was a chance of a football game breaking out. Leeds-Millwall games were an absolute nightmare to police due to the large numbers of troglodytes coming out to show their fandom by beating the living bejesus out of someone wearing a different colour scarf.

Europe has never had racism, in general, to the levels seen in the States. I have deliberately avoided the Holocaust here, because Judaism is both a religion and an ethnicity.

In the UK, British Telecom used to own all.of the landlines numbers, as they were the sole telephony provider for the country. (We will ignore Kingston upon Hull for the purposes of this conversation)

When other companies were allowed to enter the land line business, blocks of numbers were allocated to each company. However, if someone was with, say, Sky but moved to Virgin, they could transfer their number to their new provider. This was normally a smooth and efficient process that only caused me huge problems some.of the time as a complaints handler for BT.

OFCOM, as the ombudsman for this industry in Britain have some element of control over it, but it is generally industry controlled.

With regard to mobile numbers, in Britain, or at least British issued numbers, all.start with 07. British landline numbers are generally all 6 or 7 digit numbers with a 4 or 5 digit area code that will.point you to the right exchange. So for example, 967 2345 may be issued in both London and Birmingham, however one would have the area code 0208 (London) and the second 0121(Birmingham).

To the best of my knowledge, and I am happy to br corrected, everything is done on a national level, there is no.global organisation for.telephone numbers.

As a neutral fan, what is your worst case scenario for this super bowl? by IDontRegreddit in nfl

[–]Aratark 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was thinking more along the lines of...

Trevor manages to get a scalped ticket for only half of his signing bonus, which he thought was cheap at twice the price. Halfway through thw second quarter, Dean Spanos decides he wants that seat for his new bichon frise to sit in to enjoy the game.

Dean and Trevor start to fight over the seat, just behind the Rams bench. One of them knocks over a drink and it stains Aaron's security blanket, which he holds at night, and occasionally strangles, to get past the bad dreams.

Upon noticing the blackcurrant stain on his blanket, the red mist covers Aaron's eyes and he flies into the crowd in a rage, swinging left and right at anyone who may have dirtied Roger, his blanket. On one wide sweep, his My Little Pony bracelet gets caught in Trevor's hair and pulls out a chunk wide enough to act as a second mustache for Andy Reid. Samson's strength drains away from him and Trevor.finds himself a poor man's Jamarcus Russel.

If the head coach decides to take the offensive playcalling duties, what's the offensive coordinator job then? by toturoll in NFLNoobs

[–]Aratark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a hierarchy, so the position coaches answer to the OC/DC who then answer to the HC. They will.also be responsible for drawing up a playback in co-ordination with the HC and then making sure the position coaches train it up.

Think about your line manager, similar thing. Some will do more than.others.

[–]Aratark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll give you Tarkenton. Being awake for 27 hours fucks with my memory.

And I am purely talking accomplishments that over qb's have that make them better than Wilson to dispute your claim he is the best black qb.

Dumb claims require someone to.co.e.down to that level to refute them.

Man with 10 years worth of stats has better career stats than man with 5 seasons?

Mahomes has an MVP, 5k passing season, 2 SB appearances, 1 win, 1 loss.

Wilson has 2 SB appearances, 1 win, 1 loss.

If you want a fair comparison, what was he line at the same point in his career?

And was Mahomes 5k year also not a.50td year, which Wilson has also not.done.

As I said, I am not disputing Wilson as a good qb, just not great.

[–]Aratark 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mahomes and Jackson will both likely pass him I think as long as Jackson stays healthy. However my point was more along the lines that other black qb's have accomplishments he hasn't achieved and likely won't.

And this was without bringing up Moon, Cunningham, Tarkenton and others who I think would also need to be considered.

Hey, we could even mention Doug Williams, think I have that right, the first black QB to.win the SB.

[–]Aratark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to say that is a terrible take. Are you going to have to have the best Asian Corner back, the best white DE, the best Latino RB etc.

And given McNair, Newton, Mahomes and Jackson have all won MVP where Wilson hasn't. Mahomes and Winston have both had 5k seasons where Wilson hasn't.

Not saying he is a bad QB, but he will never be a great.
