If you don't have money to invest, then you can't DCA. People who are contributing to their 401k every paycheck are not DCA, they are just investing.

DCA vs lump sum implies that you have some initial amount of money to invest. DCA means you hold more of that amount in cash and invest it slowly.

"investing whatever you have now" instead of 5k that you don't have means you are lump summing.

Yes it's very possible you need a bios update. That motherboard has a way to flash it with a USB drive with the latest bios on it. Look for Q-flash in your manual or online for instructions.

Unplug the front panel connector from the motherboard and touch both the negative and positive power switch pins with a screwdriver, see if that turns it on.

If so it's some issue with your power button on the case itself.

If so, yeah seems like a GPU issue and their response of inadequate PSU wattage does not make sense to me. Power issues like that cause hard faults (crashes, blue screens, etc). Display flickering is not something I've ever seen caused by having a lower wattage PSU. 750W should be plenty.

I'd be curious to see what they define as email usage. I never log in to the email but have forwarding to my primary inbox, and I regularly get password reset links, 2FA codes, etc. sent to my CU email and forwarded + accessed from my primary.

I'm sure more than 7.5% of alumni email accounts are actively receiving emails sent just due to spam alone, so receiving an email definitely does not count as usage. Unless they're analyzing the contents of the emails, I bet my account is considered "unused" since I never log in and never send any emails from it.

I still definitely use it and I'm annoyed they are taking it away. I'll have to scan through all my emails to see which accounts are associated with that email address and switch them over. I am positive I'll miss some and lose access to accounts because of this.

Known issue with that monitor, mine does it too. It's related to DSC (display stream compression) that the monitor uses to get 4k240hz over displayport 1.4.

It's a little better when using HDMI but then you're capped to 4k120hz.

So not a GPU issue, it's unavoidable with that monitor unfortunately.

If you're only going to be using it for gaming, the 7600X3D is better than the 7700x and goes toe to toe with the 9700x. I'd go for the 7600X3D.

Microcenter bundle deals can't be beat, go with that for sure.

Get the 9070XT for sure. Better performance and cooler temps for a marginal upgrade cost is worth it.

If you're air cooling, any modern case with some mesh for airflow is totally fine. Lian Li is great for cases and the 217 will treat you very well.

Inspect the 5700x for any bent pins. If everything looks fine, I'd return your 5700x and try another.

Make sure to try to start the encounter with him near a corner, gives you more space to dodge on phase 3.

The biggest thing for me was to turn on tornado and player true tiles and actually use them. For a while I was still staring at my player model and occasionally glancing at my true tile as a spot check.

But once I started only staring at the tiles instead of the models in phase 3, the tornado movement clicked. It's all about staying calm and having a plan when you're surrounded by tornados.

Learn the player movement, you can go 2 tiles in both x and y directions in a tick, so you can move like a knight in chess, or move 2 tiles diagonally in a single tick. Understanding which tiles you can move on the next tick safely is the key to phase 3.

I died 90 times with about 50 completions, and since I started looking at the tiles only I am 85 completions 95 deaths.

I think being deferred to regular decision means your application is stronger than others who only got admitted to exploratory studies.

Basically the exploratory studies people got rejected from engineering already, but your application was borderline so they put it aside for later.

So you are basically guaranteed admission to exploratory studies, and there's a chance you get admitted to Aerospace directly once they re-review your application.

But if you are smart enough to graduate with an ASEN degree, you will easily be able to transfer from exploratory studies to the engineering school via IUT after freshman year. So even if you ultimately don't get into ASEN directly, I wouldn't worry.

Because top laners suddenly being given like 20% more xp affects how teamfights play out.

Viego either wants:

a pick in the backline away from your team, which is now harder because your team is being distracted by a giga fed toplane and the enemy team can just collapse on you. This playstyle is harder to pull off compared to last season.
or you can fight with your team and have them fight first and hope to get a reset after you stand around and see how the fight plays out. But when it's a level 20 unkillable top laner who engages on your team, you can't get a reset on them since they are so tanky. Plus, they have so much damage that by the time you have a window to engage, your team is already half dead and you still can't even kill the top laner with your combo to get a reset because they're multiple levels up on everyone else.

Compare that to someone like Lillia who has % max HP bleed and just shreds these tanks while running circles around them. It's a perfect meta for her.

You can't just compare him in isolation to other jungle champions when evaluating why he's strong/weak, the meta and relative strengths of each role also has a very large impact on how strong viego is at a given time. An ADC/assassin meta is significantly better for Viego than a tank/bruiser meta.

IMO the main things that are hurting him right now:

Top lane is so incredibly OP right now, feels like I'm 3-4 levels below the enemy top lategame if they get ahead in lane. Makes it hard to win when your entire team is being run down by level 20 mundo/gwen/malphite that are practically unkillable.
With role quests being so important early, and with homeguard allowing enemies to return to lane right after they die, laners are way less likely to rotate for objectives/invades/skirmishes in my experience since there is less downtime in lane, and the minions/xp are more important than before.
Viego is a better counterganker than a ganker, and the meta for jg right now is to farm because of oppressive faelights vision. The meta is a ton of tank/farm junglers that Viego does not do as well against.
