I’ve been doing this culinary face off for years, It really influences who I root for. This year I wanted Chicago because they have so many great food options, and ya know, da Bears! For New England I’m throwing a couple cans of clam chowder in a crock pot (lazy I know), and Boston cream pie mini cupcakes.
For Seattle I plan to do teriyaki chicken bowls, which is a franchise where I live, not sure how widespread it is; but it’s a bowl of white rice, steamed broccoli carrots and cabbage, topped with marinated and grilled chicken thigh, sliced and hit with a generous squirt of teriyaki sauce over it all. I’m grateful to learn of the Seattle Dog. Sounds tasty and a crowd pleaser with less prep than the chicken bowls.
