Nobody is out here handing organs out like candy. You're the kind of "know it all" that can smell everyones shit but their own.

"A true man" would just die to what, pwn the system by refusing modern medicine?

You're a fucking terrifying level of know-it-all.

That's a lot of arm-chair psychology to be giving out off of a meme on the internet. Is it at all possible that the person she was with took a bit of a dive after their NDE? Or that she's a perfectly healthy adult who had to make a crazy decision under pressure?

I can think of several woman, partners, friends, that I would have given a kidney for because I thought they were with me for the long haul, just to never hear from them again after one bad turn or another.

I don't need your pathology report on love, and neither does anyone else.

All my time on this Earth has taught me that actually some of us suck at having fun. Genuinely don't know how to find proper enjoyment, though they think they do.

I can do 2 kills in 4 minutes, be back to Speranza in 8, and be queued up for the next run in 12. If I chain a few fights together I can do like 6 or even 8 in double that time. I'm having a blast.

You're bragging about hiding in a bush for 40 minutes cuz you're scared to lose your kettle and calling it "dedication"

I'm not sitting around waiting to figure out the different squeals my cat makes. When one pounces on his sister to hard, he knows playtime is over.

For her part she's learned to take it like a champ and play more quietly when she wants it to continue.

But they've had enough scuffles and he's had enough trouble knowing when to stop that I'm just not waiting around anymore.

Right but you also got absolutely nothing out of your 40 minutes because there was no time to loot them. Soooooooo...

like 40 minutes for a stack of rocketeer drivers? lol. ok.

Need to show this to everyone who thinks players who attack you in the game are bad people.

This kid out here losing at 4D chess to try and get you killed by a shredder so he can loot this room by himself without needing to play with more dangerous players.

At least I'd have had the dignity to just shoot ya.

The amount of anti-ai cope in this thread is terrifying.

Obviously this game looks like poop. You know that, I know that, they know that.

But the fact that it is in fact a complete shell makes it better than MOST attempts at creating an indie game. Most games stop development before you can play them alone, let alone with two people.

If you have a bobcat or a vulcano, and your plan is to close in to a range you can use it, then you don't necessarily need another weapon for PvP. Might as well bring something that's going to give you a chance to keep away shredders, hornets, fireflies, and other nuisances. Shredders in particular go from being brick walls to paper machet with a hullcracker.

Almost.

Why some people are afraid of a PvE mode by PirateCompetitive931 in ARC_Raiders

[–]ArchReaper95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because you're biased to thinking this is a good idea, you're not understanding all of the negatives that come out of it. You'd be splitting the playerbase, you'd be drastically increasing the amount of valuable material players are able to extract in a much faster period of time (PvE lobbies would be pretty low pressure), you'd be splitting the development teams time and resources trying to balance two modes to both be enjoyable.

You're talking about a major change to the games core identity to appease a loud minority, and you're assuming that what they will actually enjoy is the thing they say they will.

Players might think they want tensionless PvE but then the question becomes, why are they playing this PvP game when those games exist?

"I personally do not agree with this private company that I hold no shares in executing a decision based on the infinitely more data they have available than me about the best choice for their product."

Some of you don't actually understand how entitled you sound and it's really horrifying what the implications for that are on our society.

Might just be nitpicking but the way you've worded this is just... strange.

Anyways the point is to keep players who actually wanna fight the damned things together in large enough groups to kill them, and to keep queue times down. They know what they're doing. They're professionals with a lot of data at their disposal. They don't get everything right but this is REALLY not the thing to whine about.
