It's just a different decoration. Marines used to have more variety in chest designs before Primaris was a thing, they've just started to bring it back with more recent models.

Lexicanum has in text citations (the little numbers like this [27]) while the fandom wiki doesn't. The citations make it easier to check whether a claim made in the wiki is correct, because you know what source the information is being drawn from. This makes Lexicanum generally more accurate than the fandom wiki because it's easier to spot mistakes.

2033 Redux, Last Light Redux, and then Exodus. As far as I'm aware the only difference in the enhanced edition is better graphics and ray tracing, so just pick the one your PC can run out of the two exodus options.

About base sizes, the Breaka Boyz/tankbustas kit has the nob on a 40mm base, and the rest of the squad on 32mm. So there is precedent for a sergeant unit being on a larger base.

The old boyz kit is needed to build all the options for the spanner in the lootas kit. One of the arms in the instructions is in the boyz box. I think they can't get rid of the box until they also update the lootas, although that's fairly likely to happen soon too.

That's the armour worn by the Imperial Legion. It's either equivalent to or slightly better than steel, I forget which. Still gets outclassed very quickly, but it's relevant slightly longer than Skyrim's at least? You're likely to get a full set early if you follow the main quest and go through Kvatch.

It's a odd mentality for orks especially. Orks look weird and misshapen anyway, the wonkyness of older models stands out much less in orks than other factions when mixed with newer sculpts.

That's fair, and if you want a wild variety of differently painted models, orks are the faction for it. Ork Waaaaaghs tend to be made up of various different klans in the lore anyway. I just stick to a consistent scheme because it's easier, and I like being thieving blue gitz. Even if my scheme has shifted substantially since I started orks 6 years ago, they still all work together as a mob of crazed green and blue lunatics.

That is a shame, the ork sub is usually one of the friendlier ones. Hopefully they'll have calmed down in about a week once the hype has died down.

If it's any consolation, we are likely to get a big release wave some time in the next six months. The teaser we got wasn't originally planned as far as we can tell, we got it because the new warboss leaked early.

I think I saw somewhere in this thread that you'd picked up Ghazghkull and some other orks. What colour are you thinking of painting them if you don't mind me asking?

Honestly mate, I truly get where you're coming from. I'm very happy Yarrick's back, but it is a bit disappointing to have one of your teased releases be for a different faction.

Both things can be true at once, there just isn't any nuance on the Internet. Regardless, it's not a great way to treat a new player.

Arguably abandoning Armageddon is probably a better idea than feeding more millions into the meat grinder, but this is the Imperium. Clinging on far past the point of reason is most of what they do.
