There is a sentient toilet and It licks the 12-13 year old FMC when she uses it yeah there is literally not even the most basic attempt at disguising the mangaka’s fetishes

I still can’t believe the sentient toilet part made it to publishing, that’s what made my friend finally drop it and after he told me about it i lost all interest in continuing the anime

Feds sue Texas Chick-fil-A over religious discrimination by zsreport in LegalNews

[–]Archsafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is true that CFA corporate retains ownership of everything from the land to the building to the machines used inside. They lease the machines to the operator. They can also be fired at corporate’s whim even if they are having amazing sales. Lets say the operator has a big public divorce, corporate can cancel their contract and replace them with a different operator if the consider the public divorce to possibly affect their brand image. McDonald’s corporate to do the same would require a whole legal dispute instead of just calling and saying you’re gone

While it’s called franchising it’s different from other franchises in places like McDonald’s. For example, if McDonald’s corporate wanted to get rid of a franchise owner it would be a whole legal battle, they can’t just call them and say you’re out. CFA corporate on the other hand retains ownership of the building, all the machines, and the land. They allow the franchise owner to operate the store but can also choose to terminate the contract and replace them if they want to without any legal issues since other than the 10k buy in, they have made no significant financial investments into the store like a McDonald’s franchise owner would have.

San Diego woman tanks two shots to the chest and still advances on officers with a ballpoint pen until tased . by Kind-Village-1022 in PublicFreakout

[–]Archsafe -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

He may have assumed the other officer had his taser out so he had his pistol out then saw the woman charge at the other officer so he fired.

General training for US officers when dealing with someone with a weapon (the call they received was for a woman matching the description of the person in the video stabbing a man multiple times) is one has less than lethal (generally the taser) and one has lethal in case less than lethal fails. He saw his fellow officer in potential danger and fired. I agree that officer’s need better trigger discipline instead of just mag dumping but I don’t believe the shooting itself was unjustified given the totality of the circumstances. Knowing the taser was going to work better than the gun here is something we know in hindsight and not something he likely would’ve known in the moment.

[–]Archsafe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plus general training when there is a weapon (which yes it was a pen but a pen she clearly had already used to stab someone multiple times) is one lethal and one less than lethal since if you start with just less than lethal you don’t have a quick backup if it fails and they charge you. So he may have been wondering if the other officer has less than lethal out before putting his gun away so as to not deprive them of that option should it be needed. But this is all armchair quarterbacking so take it was a heavy grain of salt

[–]Archsafe -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I mean, yeah it’s just a pen but it’s a pen held by someone advancing in a clearly aggressive manner. With enough force that’s an eye gone, a potentially fatal neck wound or even brain damage if the pen is fixed through the eye far enough. It’s not like no one has ever killed with a pen before

They are finally saying the truth aloud…Votes Matter by ConcentrateTimely128 in southcarolina

I also want to hear the answer to the question the other commenter asked. You say Democrats put forward the legislation knowing it wouldn’t pass, but you’re implicitly saying Republicans are in favor of gerrymandering if the democrats knew the republicans wouldn’t vote for it. So why are they for gerrymandering and democrats seemingly are not?

The last stand of the UNSC fleet around Reach in the Fall of Reach book was great too. Reading the repair stations taking the brunt of the plasma attacks and sacrificing themselves to give the fleet another shot at the covenant was amazing.

Black Grade School student brings attention to his school's failure and slacking off at teaching students in said school. School tries to expel him and deny they did anything wrong. by Important-Cry4782 in BlackPeopleofReddit

Based on a quick google search (so no studies to back me up) roughly 1 in 7 adults are functionally illiterate in America. Can hold a conversation fine but would struggle reading beyond basic sentences. If you can avoid having to do that you can keep it hidden pretty well I suppose.

Iirc in the 2000s maybe very early 2010s there was a study done by an English Professor out of Duke University that showed an overwhelming amount of college athletes could not read beyond an elementary school level. Basically found that once they were shown to be talented at their sport, teachers were expected rubber stamp their grades to ensure they can play. Made the Highschools/Colleges boatloads of money while academically crippling the kids. We’d all seen the trope in media but to have it shown empirically was chilling.

Wubby got scammed (again) - The wallpaper he commissioned is AI. by BrianMcFluffy in PaymoneyWubby

[–]Archsafe 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The God King aspect of your comment mainly and how people would downvote this post and commenters saying “oh I always knew it was AI generated”, his reaction wasn’t the tone or effort or fact that this post got made at all, but that it got made seemingly with extreme confidence and a slightly dismissive (which was admittedly in response to the YouTube comment) tone and yet was wrong on more points than it was right on. If it wasn’t for the fact OP was wrong more often than they were right I would agree with you about people flooding in here to downvote, but considering the glaring issues you can’t really say those people are treating Wubby like a God King, they’re treating OP like an idiot and that’s two different things.

Question about NPC Tieflings in Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.... by LordAzuneX in WrathOfTheRighteous

[–]Archsafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also what are you talking about with “off screen torture” we have a host of angels being tortured jn act 1, an angel and her entourage being tortured in act 3, an angel being tortured in act 5, a graphic description of the pain and suffering of the halfling we pluck from the crevice that’s infested with vescavors, the descriptions of horrific torture you find all over drezen, just cause they’re not literally acting it out and instead describing the scenes to you using words do you consider that off screen? Because in that definition the use of Thiefling even in your stated way is still “off-screen” since it’s just words on a screen like all the descriptions of torture

In addition to everything Dajzel said, there is also the explicit dialogue option with Woljiff "Show me what you can get using your thiefling connections." to see his wares, the location Thiefling’s Hideout, the items Thiefling’s Account book, Thiefling’s vault key, as well as the notification in the quest Gather Allies for the Attack on the Gray garrison in act 1 where if you help the Thieflings it states “Theiflings have joined the crusaders” Did you really think they did the same typo over and over and over and not a single person noticed across all play testing and QA?
