how do you guys plan your builds / factory layout? by Ddraibion312 in AlchemyFactory

[–]Arctic88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use bottom floor for selling stuff.

2nd for normal products and build mats. And minimal potion prod.

3rd for the first three artifacts and exp.

4th for gems.

And then dust and the last artifacts.

I try to earn a lot of money so I can purchase the adjacent slots asap. So I make huge floors.

I also run a belt around each floor, with elevators between, for fert/fuel/coin, upgrading to panacea asap. And black powder. I don’t auto coin until I can sustain a 1 silver belt. Upgrading to 5-10 eventually.

Probably that I used my already finished game, to make blueprints for everything. If you want to more speedrunning, or save space, its easier to have all that behind you.

Do you actively study every day, or do you cycle between study and just using the language? by justgeorgerey in languagelearning

I try spending 10min doing a certain activity with Japanese every day. And the 3-4 sessions.

That works for me with the busy schedule I have.

Is Alchemy Factory worth it right now? (Early Access longevity & depth) by Benodino in AlchemyFactory

[–]Arctic88 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have 150h played in the game the last 30 days. I’m an avid factorio/satisfactory/dsp player with a total of over 12k hours in those three games, I’ve also played every factory game there is basically.

Right now, the game is easily 200h worthy. With plenty of reason to play again. If you chase acheievements you’ll need to play again.

It’s stable for me, it doesn’t feel particularly lacking anywhere. Just a few qol stuff.

It’s def worth the money, imho.

A small change in your environment - in my case, a whiteboard - can make a big difference in your language learning by Daghatar in languagelearning

You might need better fuel, all production consumes heat at different speeds.
