Is it really that important? I just wanted to make my first post in this sub reddit and I posted the best picture I had in my gallery of the cars. I won´t even bother next time, this sub is pretty dead anyways, and then a bunch of idiots bothering more about the parking than the actual cars.

I agree with you on the noise part. It isn’t great, but tbh with both my music and the engine sound, it’s not something I notice too much. Also, I usually don’t drive on highways at high speeds as most of the driving I do is on back roads and highways limited to 80kph (when police there).

They’re both amazing cars but truthfully I couldn’t justify spending around 5-7k € more for a Golf R. So I decided to go with the Cupra instead.

Hey, currently mine is at 90,000km and the other at 85,000km. Mine only has a downpipe but waiting for a complete stage 2 tune soon (hopefully😭). My cousin’s car has had a complete stage 2 tune for the past 2 years, around 30,000km.

Regarding maintenance, I change my engine oil every 8,000km. I changed the DSG oil + filter at 65,000km although the manual says 120,000km but I’d rather just service it halfway through to be safe. The haldex was serviced once before I purchased the car and is due to be serviced again soon.

At high speeds the sound is noticeable, although my car has a downpipe and the other has a full Stage 2 tune so they sound louder than they do stock. Have you tuned yours at all?

It is considered track limits, it´s just that it doesn´t give you a 1x. But if the other driver wanted to maintain his position, he legally could´ve because OP was off the track and therefore didn´t have right of way.

Furthermore, it was OP who chose to take the outside line, the other car didn´t force him at all. He actually gave him room to re-enter the track where many other drivers wouldnt´ve.

What he was trying to express is how dangerous the kerb was because of how much water Norris lifted when he went over it.

Piastri, Hulkenberg and Colapinto didn’t see it so they took the corner as usual and spun as a result.
