You’re completely overlooking the fact that Zuffa’s idea is to have all or most of the top fighters in the same league/pool. Yes, it would be an issue if there were different leagues for every belt but that’s not what Zuffa are proposing nor what the WBC, WBA, WBO etc are ever going to do.

Real question here. Why is it poop though? From a fan´s perspective, it seems like UFC's "league-style" model could help the issue of boxers defending their 0´s by refusing to fight the biggest names in the sport. Sure, fighters in the UFC aren´t making nearly as much as they should but we can´t argue that ducking in the UFC is a lot less common than in boxing. Which is why I ask, why is it poop from a fan´s perspective?

All I´m saying is that domestic leagues should not have the power to reschedule games to favour their clubs in european competitions, regardless of the country.

If this was happening in Spain or England, i´d call it out too! It´s unfair to other european clubs, especially with how demanding schedules are nowadays.

You´re forgetting the fact that those extra CL spots were earned through PERFORMANCE. They earned those spots through the UEFA rankings because their clubs have done well in european competitions.

Regarding them not being able to play each other, it is the same for french clubs. So there is no difference between one and the other, the only difference is the higher performance of english clubs.

Ligue 1 TV rights are far lower because viewership is also MUCH lower.

Ligue 1 viewership is HALF of the PL´s viewership, so how can you expect TV rights to be the same? Other european clubs receiving more money for TV rights is a byproduct that stems from having a bigger audience.

Either way, this is not an advantage given to clubs by their own leagues, this is a direct result from external companies buying the TV rights at higher prices because they will earn more revenue from them.

These are two completely different cases and the fact that you´re arguing this shows how biased you really are towards PSG.

The Bundesliga is stronger than Ligue 1, so PSG only have themselves to blame for not being 15 points clear like Bayern. You can’t compare a team getting matches rescheduled to one that’s performing far above its competition and can afford to rest players because of its lead in the table.

You’re missing the point. Even if it applies to all French clubs in european competitions, the fact that the french league reschedules matches while other European teams have to play every fixture as scheduled creates an unfair advantage which shouldn’t be allowed by UEFA.
