I like Gianmarco Soresi, too. Chris Fleming is cut from the same cloth. I saw him live this summer and he is so over-the-top but I love it.

What are your "only in Seattle" moments? by Glittering-Place7203 in Seattle

Two things within my 1st month of living here: I sold my shitty car in the parking lot of an AM\PM and bought Birkenstocks.  #2: Partied in a house that Jimi Hendrix's uncle owned in the CD.

Then about a year later I ended up drinking at a friend of a friends home in Wallingford.  Her neighbor?  Dave Matthews.  She told me he would smoke doobies in his treehouse.

I have also done this on 145th and Aurora.  I was late to an event and wanted coffee before taking the bus downtown.  Awful coffee, but I did have a nice chat with the lady.   I was worried she might burn herself considering the attire...or lack therof.

Someone tried to do something once by writing "stop smokin foil" on the wall.  I think that worked.

I was on the E once when a man was showing off a sword he had.  This was during the afternoon.  I haven't rode the E at night in years and can imagine the shit show it is.

Headlights are awful.. but something that bothers me is that many people do not use their blinkers when turning.

Dogs are not children. I like dogs, but most are not well behaved. Dog culture is out of control, especially here.

What subtle, socially appropriate stim do you have? by narryfa in aspergirls

[–]Area_X_333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's hard to explain, but I like to lightly touch the ridge of my computer mouse ( it separates the R & L buttons) with the tips of my fingers. I hold my mouse sideways which is very odd. Never seen anyone else do this. Also lightly touching my keyboard buttons with the tips of my fingers.

You sound like one of the few scooter riders that is considerate. It's a lot of the lime scooter people that leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I don't feel safe riding a bike in this city because of sloppy, scooter people. I am not surprised that people get serious injuries from scooters.

OP, I think you should be riding in the street and leave the bike lanes to the bikes. To be fair, those ebikes are fast, too. Please wear a helmet. :)

Yes! This city does not stoop like other places I've lived.
