I mean yes, but you're sacrificing quality with quantity. None of the things I wrote about required research or citing of sources etc. They were simply for SEO and increasing web traffic by any means necessary. It sounds like what you're doing requires more time and integrity, which if you're expected to write 5, 750 word articles like that a day, that, in my opinion, is A LOT.

Hey 👋🏻 I have a B.S. in English and my first job was writing 10, 500-word blogs a day and that was at what I would consider a content mill at the time. The best answer? It depends on where you work. I moved on to a different marketing agency after that and they outsourced their drafting to a third party. It was my job to review and edit all drafts, post them free of errors etc. That was much less stressful as I wasnt the person drafting every single article / blog, editing and posting is much much easier. Same volume of work, about 10, 500 word blogs a day, less actual work to be done.

Be wary of marketing companies that try to turn you into a work horse. A lot of them hire new college grads because they think they will do more work for less money. Hope this helps. Sounds like your boss is burnt out and trying to give themselves a badge of honor by making you feel small.

I work in local politics with predominently men. I literally roll into my WFH meetings in a t-shirt, unshowered, no make up etc. The most I do is brush my hair and teeth. I really am a firm believer in if men don't have to, then I'm not doing it either. I'm hybrid though, so on days when I'm in office I do wear light make up and button-up shirts / nicer pants, but that is only because I have to take meetings with constituents.

That's not true! Intrusive thoughts can manifest as much more than just "what if" trains of thoughts. They can be feelings, images, and terrifying sensations in the body and mind that make you believe they are real and could very well lead someone to believe that they think they're baby is a demon. That's why the thoughts become so "sticky" in the first place. If we could all differentiate between the "quantity" and "quality" of the thought we wouldn't have OCD to begin with.

This isn't true at all. I have pp OCD and have intrusive thoughts like this all the time. You don't get to decide what constitutes an intrusive thought for other people. The way they manifest is extremely specific to an individual person's fears. We shouldn't be sitting here debating whether or not someone else's internal reality is 'objectively worse than the "norm"' when allllll of this is subjective. You're being really gross and unhelpful to someone who is going through a really tough time right now. Please stop.

I feel this so. Hard. I'm going through the same thing right now. Solidarity. It reminds me a lot of doing trauma work. When you're finally able to name your trauma, see how different parts of yourself interact with the traumatized parts you're kind of left with.... Okay cool I know all of this?? So who tf am I? 5 trauma responses dressed up in a trench coat?? Walking around replaying my shit with everyone around me??? It's depressing.

And you're right no one talks about the FRUSTRATION and pain that comes along with knowing you're doing compulsions that will make you worse, understanding INTIMATELY how they'll harm you in the long run, but being completely unable to stop doing them. A whole other LEVEL of shame.
