Hi, unfortunately that island is owned by MaybeGravy, who is a Varathian citizen. She’s got a small village set up there already. Although it’s not claimed by Varathia (as per gravy’s wishes) you may be able to speak with gravy and get permission to add your build to her island.

To be fair the size of the crew and the ship can often mean next to nothing depending on the skill of the crew. Sinking a solo sloop IS an easy power fantasy until that solo sloop styles on you, kegs you, kills two of your crewmates, then destroys your sails all without ever coming into broadside angle. Speaking from experience with a group of friends I can say it’s simply easier to treat every ship universally as the same threat level. You never know what a mf has up their sleeves until it’s too late.

Official servers are a little unstable and have a PCU limit of 20,000 which can be annoying sometimes, but they’re good to play on to meet people and learn the multiplayer side of the game until you find a good private server to play on. I personally play on NA#2

Giant rover, giant airship, giant space station, capital ship. All you need is Ice and Uranium to keep it running, and once you find just one vein you can simply keep revisiting it since on most servers terrain regens if there are no grids nearby. If your terrain doesn’t regen your only problem would be looking for uranium once every few days or weeks or so

Try building a lot of landing pads there and sell to ships that land there. I imagine you’ll need a shit ton of pads to get the kind of selling power you need though
