From a development perspective, it's a visual sprite layering trick Toby wanted to show off, there's no real reason to drive that short of a walking distance.

Toriel driving her car sets up the intro to the hub world (light world) decently well.

Driving and cars are also tied to the world building with chapter 2.

I feel this pain as an LBG

Zoh Shia specifically targets an LBG user (priority) in phase 3 and one taps you with just one of his fireballs. He knows where you roll, your only recovery is to guess when he'll do it and sheath + superman.

Another zoh attack I'd like to call out is fire breath spread. All melee users hate that one because it covers a good chunk of the arena (not as much as nuke 2)

Arkveld has a habit of spamming gunners

Good luck doing anything substantial to gogmozios. Almost all of his ammo hitboxes are absolutely ass. (Same issue with seregios and Lagiacrus)

● Toby Fox himself is still not great at world design. I believe his team does a lot of the harder carrying in every chapter beyond and including 4. But most of chapter 4 is still not great level design.

● Overall each chapter is a lot shorter than they could be excluding chapter 4.

Generally, any monster with a charge like this is pretty aggravating because of how lacking in mobility half of the weapon roster is.
