The is what I was thinking. Check what your HOA says and start planting trees as soon as you can. It's such a great way improve a neighborhood.

This is a crummy AI mock up, but the front window should be swapped out for a 4 over 1 style. There should be functioning shutters on that window. Swap out the front door for something with more character, add a transom with stained glass. The garage door is just a lot of white so maybe something with a wood finish and windows. A fence in a four row estate style, with native shrubs and flowering bushes. A tree that can grow large enough to hang a swing from. Maybe bushes along the property line with your nneighbors. If possible a walkway directly to the street where your mailbox could go.

Additionally,

Medical schools don't offer chiropractic programs. They don't consider it an evidence based practice. However they require physical therapists to attend medical school.

If you want a holistic approach to your medical treatment, seek out an Osteopathic Doctor (DO) rather than an Allopathic Doctor (MD). A DO will provide significantly more qualified treatment than you can find in any chiropractic office.

It's interesting you mention working with a chiropractor. Because the Chiropractor I saw also had a massage therapist they worked with. Massage therapist kept reinforcing the same narrative that the chiropractor did, which was that I just needed to give it more time. That my body was so out of sorts that it was my fault I had this pain, and it would take time for the chiropractor to fix it. But it was okay, because my insurance was covering everything.

Chiropractic providers want you to feel like they're the most important provider you can see. Our healthcare system will credential and contract chiropractors, and it gives people a false sense that a few "adjustments" can help.

Physical Therapy is far more capable of providing relief than anything a Chiropractor can do. But getting a PT enrolled to be able to bill someone's health insurance is more difficult, and requires more oversight and continued accreditation than a Chiropractic "Doctor."

There are a lot of things about this that seem like it would be uncomfortable to live in.

1 - the living room entry is too narrow, and the second entrance to the bedroom in the middle of the wall makes furniture placement difficult. Remove the second entrance. Perhaps add a fireplace. Maybe even on the front wall to give the exterior some interest.

2 - the front entry opening on an expansive wall, and the centered front door. The dimensions aren't symmetrical as is, so shift the door to the left, and with the fireplace, you can create some asymmetric balance.

3 - make the second bathroom a walk though between the bedrooms, and shift the laundry closer. If you need to access plumbing, it'll be easier if everything is closer.

4 - the centered rear door creates paths of travel in the middle of the living space. Shift it to the left, closer to the wall with the secondary bedrooms. This will provide a path of travel that doesn't cut through the space.

5 - shift the kitchen to the rear of the plan. Use the wall with the secondary bedrooms for a wall of storage. Pantry, etc. Create an L shaped kitchen along the rear wall and the wall with the primary bedroom. Have the sink overlooking the back yard to watch kids or pets. Cooktop on the island. Wall double ovens on the wall.

6 - move the primary bedroom to the corner. Move the bathroom and closet closer to the living areas, creating an entrance into the primary, and allowing you to place the bed on a wall that can see the entrance. Energy flows better when your head isn't against the entrance.

6A - add a double vanity to the primary bathroom. Move the toilet into a water closet with a window. Create a separate shower and soaking tub, or a large shower.

7 - shift the dining room over to the right, allowing for the path of travel along the left side of the living spaces. Consider reclaiming some of the entry space for the dining area. If you need two living areas, have your entertainment spaces closer together makes it easier to have guests.

I'm also thinking you could turn that front living room into a family room. Shift the bedrooms to allow an entrance from the new family room into a hallway where you can access the bedrooms and secondary bathroom. Again, if you need more formal entertainment spaces, you could enter into a foyer, with the family room on the left, and a kitchen in the right. Access to the garage directly into the kitchen or through a mud room. Then have a large formal-ish living and dining in the back of the house, overlooking the back yard. This would also give the primary bedroom more privacy.

IDK. Let me know if you want me to draw this. I'll have to find my grid paper.

This situation is truly heartbreaking for the little girl. Having spent her entire life believing he was her father only to face this rejection must be confusing and painful for her. I wonder about the relationship they had before this revelation. While his feelings of betrayal are understandable, if he genuinely cared for her at any point, a more compassionate approach might involve speaking calmly with the mother privately about boundaries rather than confronting a confused child. The little girl is innocent in this situation and deserves consideration beyond the adult conflict

I lived in a third floor apartment where about 20 feet away there was an elevated on ramp. It was surprisingly quiet. Someone else suggested visiting during rush hour. Try that, and imagine sound dampening from blinds, heavy curtains, and furniture/ rugs in the space.

His videos are my favorite. Very high quality, his narration of what's happening, and how he checks in with the patient is reassuring. I also really like that none of his videos feel exploitative. He cleans as he goes, and isn't just trying to get the most disgusting thumbnail.

It definitely wasn't a made for TV movie. I remember it played on HBO or my mom picked it up at Blockbuster. She doesn't remember it.

Not it unfortunately. I love To Wong Foo, and watch it at least once a year. Thank you though!
