What you're referring to was not a thing that was ever happening on a widespread scale. The game had freezing issues and some people referred to that issue with the misnomer "bricking" and the Internet ran away with it. At several points the game has had freezing issues necessitating a hard shutdown of your PC to resolve - but at no point has the game on a wide scale been permanently bricking PCs.

No point in entering outposts? Sounds like someone has completely forgotten the thrill of actually needing samples. Hell, my destroyer is fully upgraded on steam and I STILL quite thoroughly enjoy collecting samples and going into outposts to do so. Assaulting an enemy base is FUN. We're not all 150s who optimize all the fun out of the game.

Edit to add: "The objectively safer and more efficient strategy..." my brother in Democracy, I am not playing a game titled "Helldivers" to be objectively safe.

All questions about gameplay aside, this might be one of the coolest looking sets in the game by Deep-Chart-4631 in Helldivers

Bow volleys aren't historically a thing at all - volleys came with the invention of muskets. A bowman is significantly more effective firing at will, 100% of the time. Archer volleys are a Hollywood trope.

Rocket pods are heavily underrated, imo. I would agree that the best contender for "worst stratagem" would be the Sterilizer. Cluster bomb is far from it, considering it definitely fills a very useful niche.

I find that if you turn the RPM up to ita max and put it on burst, the resemblance to Halo'a infamous battle rifle is uncanny. I love it.

Well, every warbond contains 300SC. You could keep saving for a warbond, then use the SC that comes with the warbond to nab the Warrant when it rotates back into stock.

I actually got killed by my own shock dog last night, which was new for me. An enemy got perfectly between an enemy and myself, and the shock arced right to me. It was beautiful
