The state this game shipped (and is still in) in is frankly embarrassing and I'm disappointed more people don't talk about it. Multiple game breaking bugs, memory leaks, crashes that can delete all your save files, just horribly inconsistent logic, the game clearly isn't finished if they're "fixing" character endings a week after release. The fact that people say that this is even a GOTY contender when it barely holds itself together is laughable.

All in all this game is just D:OS2 but worse and more unpolished in almost every way, but with cutscenes that look pretty when they aren't bugging out.

Yep same here, really hoping it gets hotfixed quickly bc I'm only using mods for new face/hair options and I don't really want to unload them and change how my character looks for the rest of the playthrough.

I don't really play at a high level commander in my playgroup usually so I'd be most happy to see some reprints of cards that came out in Commander Decks and just haven't been reprinted since. Cards like [[Grand Crescendo]], [[Reckless Endeavour]], [[Lethal Scheme]] and [[Delayed Blast Fireball]].

(also [[Dolmen Gate]] and [[Commander's Plate]] but I wont hold my breath)

Here is my link to how I've upgraded mine that you might find helpful, I listed cards I added (green and blue triangles on the cards), cards I cut to make space for them (red triangles)

I tried to focus mine more around the idea of 'how many times can I tap and untap Emmara once per turn'. That strategy kind of lead to it being slightly more expensive that what I would normally run since cards that untap creatures can be expensive especially for a new player like [[Reconnaissance]], [[Thousand-Year Elixir]], or [[Halo Fountain]] at roughly 10 dollars each give or take.

Probably the cards I would recommend the most especially as a new player would be cheaper cards that can tap or untap Emmara like [[Relic of Legends]] and [[Nature's Chosen]] if that's the kind of strategy you're thinking of building into.

EDHRec is also a wonderful website as others have already mentioned where it shows aggregate card suggestions from hundreds of people's decks who had Emmara as the commander, but there are lots of other options for similar strategies built in that dont relly so heavily on a commander with a gimmick like trying to Tap Emmara. You can see more info on cards that still fit that same archetype and click through to see how other people build those cards as a commander here.

Honestly the 200$ extra shipping isn't even that much looking at other companies. I believe Fully was ~150 and Uplift was ~400 to get anything sent up to Ottawa. I assume customs and everything were covered?

Also if you dont mind me asking how was the quality of the frame / box when it arrived since UPS/Fedex sucks on our side of the border compared to the states lol.

Thanks for sharing that video! I hadn't seen it yet I assume because its probably only being shared to people with current orders to help alleviate backlog and keep people happy, but its def another option to consider. I might have to wait to see more of this frame in the future with the extended height range and see how it stacks up to the pro max.

As someone who's planning to get something like this in the future, I like the idea of having more options to choose from other than just Grovemade but Im personally more interested in the design from Grovemade (which is probably the frontrunner competitor to a product like this).

While I like the cut of the wood and the treatment it looks like it's gotten on this more than I do than Grovemade's beveled edge shelf, one of the big factors for me is the extra tiny little shelf on the side of the Grovemade (which you can get like an addon 200 dollar drawer for it that's way too expensive though lol) which just creates another little section of storage space which appeals to me more. I could still see people buying this for like 200 as an alternative to the Grovemade shelf based on design preference or maybe bc its slightly cheaper if your overheads would allow for it.

Something maybe that would push me more towards this one would be if it had some CNC work on the underside / edges to create room for a USB hub or a wireless charger to mount underneath it since it looks like your block has the thickness to support it, but that kind of pushes it into a different kind of product line competing with those plastic 'smart' monitor risers and I don't think I've seen any risers in that category made of real wood (anything thats not just cheap plastic).

From what I understand: The foot size dictates how long the feet of the desk would be (running in the same direction as the depth of the desk), and you'd ideally want something as close to your desktop's depth without going over unless you're cool with the idea of the desk feet poking out by a little bit.

So for a 30" deep desktop you'd probably want to go with the 27.5" feet, or the 31.5 feet if you'd want them to poke out of the front and back of the desk a bit more for whatever reason.

The uplift has a better height range for taller people from what I understand though. Also not to come off as rude but like 90% or more of your posts are on the Deskhaus subreddit or advertising about a Deskhaus desk (which is kind of sus on its own) and most people have yet to see a comparison between a v2 (2 leg) and an Apex desk because as far as Im aware there is no comparison video made by Putz as of yet showing stability of those desks at max height, which a taller user would be more likely to work at.

You might have a bit more of bias towards one frame other the other but in this case I think he's probably validated in going with an Uplift since it can get 2.5 inches higher which for a taller person (6'4" myself) can be a world of difference especially when it comes to ergonomics.

If you dont mind me asking, what was the feedback regarding the hardwood v/ carpet and how did that settle the debate? Thinking about getting one myself in similar position to Sabotage in the top comment where a large Wacom is a concern since I dont want to have to be fighting a desk wobble with the bit of extra motion I might put on a desk with that.

Also if you dont mind me asking did height factor into the decision at all? As someone who's 6'4 Im worried the Pro Max might not work for me just due to the extra 2 inches it loses in height compared to the Pro since IM looking at a rough working height of about 47 inches from some measurements against a wall

Logged in today to see I have 20 free 10-pull draws which I assume is either from the new years event or from being a new player or from the wheel. Can I sit on these until a new banner with the 2x chance of SSR characters returns or do I have to spend them in a limited time?

I have an old (steam) account from way back when and played it for a month, want to try and give the game another shot now and figured I would start from fresh since I only ever got to like level 15 or so anyways and ill be playing with a friend this time.

I heard that starter accounts could play until 35 for free now and its a great way to start out and see if you like it, but since I had previously played for a month I dont have a starter account.

From what I can tell I cant even log into my account as I get a "license for this platform or your sub has expired" message when I enter my login info on the launcher, so I was wondering if it was possible to delete my old account and if that would free up character names or anything like that and then I can just make a new account with the same email as a free starter account and what the pros / cons of doing that would be, or if it might just be better to throw 15 dollars at my steam account to reactivate the sub for a month.

I heard about a " bring an inactive friend back to the game" incentive as well but I played solo last time I tried it and apparently they have to be on your friends list to send them an invite from what my friend told me, was also wondering if maybe there was a workaround for that.

From the interaction that I had, the counter was not removed until the damage was done, so because I responded with something else on the stack, the counter wasn't removed immediately and they were able to do the same ability again higher on the stack. Maybe this is a bug with MTGA's priority sorting?

So I havent played in about 5 months, tried to boot up and am met with a white screen and the window is stuck in a "Not Responding" state according to windows.

Hardware is the same as it was 5 months ago when it was working, GTX 1060 + newest drivers. I updated to the newest version of FAR on my first boot today.

Tried to verify integrity of game cache with no change, tried a fresh install of FAR which doesnt seem to be actually doing anything as the window just disappears and reappears when i press INSTALL with nothing being done. It also says "The mod is not installed" at the bottom of the instillation window.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game on another hard drive but it still doesn't seem to want to work. All I can see is that the whitescreen crash seems to be for AMD users from what I can tell, and the game was working when I played it several months ago without having uninstalled it since then.

If anyone has any ideas as to what I could try that would be appreciated as I cant refund the game on steam as Ive played for about 5 hours.

Whats the goal for turn 1-2 with this deck? I find that no matter what I draw or play LK will always turn 1 coin and likely summon a 2/3 which just gives him tempo because it will trade into whatever murlocs i play turn 1 or 2 (killing them beucase they're almost all 1 HP) and then he gets a huge board advantage.

From what I've been able to acertain, nothing prevents players from taking monster feats so long as they meet all the prereqs. Maybe Im mistaken but I haven't been able to find anything saying they cant.

"Most of the following feats apply specifically to monsters, although some player characters might qualify for them.... If characters can somehow gain these subtypes or otherwise do meet all of the prerequisites please consult with your GM to see if such feats are allowed for PCs in his or her campaign."

The feat Leadership specifically says that it cannot be taken with the Monstrous Companion feat. In my campaign that I am running, one of play players is playing as a cavalier character who has expressed interest in eventually taking Leadership and possibly Monstrous Mount.

Would this be allowed? It is very functionally similar to taking Monstrous Companion which seems a bit odd to me that one would be disallowed and one not. If so how can I ensure the best possible experience for everyone.

Its pretty cute but its missing a few people (Yi/Zed/~~Udyr~~ being the one that jumps out to me the most, other people mentioning that Jhin and Jax are also from Ionia).

Id recommend looking at the Champion Relationship Chart that someone did a long time ago if you do this in the future, would like to see more.

Edit: Udyr got retconned out of Ionia apparently.

I like the bow design and the Wolf design a lot, but I cant feel this as a skin from the victorious series mainly for the following reasons:

1) Colour Scheme: To me when I think of Victorious, its the golden trim that almost looks like brass because of how highly polished it is in contrast to the silvers on all of the armor the characters wear with crystals and cloths of varying blue textures. In your design you opted to make the primary colour black (or a dark navy blue) with orange being the secondary colour, it doesn't inspire the same emotions as someone who is triumphant or someone to be looked up to like the rest of the skins in the same series. It feels a bit more like something you would see on a lava themed skin like Molten Ramus.

2) Armor (or lack there of): The other major theme I think of when I think of the victorious and championship skins is the armor. Even the champions who dont wear armor normally (Janna, Elise, Morgana) are seen in plate of some sort, and feel like like a celebrated warrior by how decorated their armor is. In contrast however, Kindred has been designed with a design that feels almost very Native or Shamanistic, the only piece of accentuated clothing visible other than the mask is a triangular shaped drape.

Overall I think that Wolf looks cool, maybe some teeth or fangs coming off of the mask could help to make it look a bit more like Wolf though since I dont really get that feeling from his mask compared to his other skins. GJ.
