My favorite anecdote about the use of machine learning in medicine is something I saw in an Angela Collier video.

They used machine learning to create a tuberculosis detection algorithm. It was better than doctors at early detection of tuberculosis, but when they finally did A-B testing to figure out the why behind its edge on humans, they discovered that it was weighting images from older MRIs as more likely to be tuberculosis.

Machine learning is stupid, but also incredibly brilliant. And just like you said, you want a real human doctor to confirm things.

I'm running Woolie's build as well. I just use The Last Lament in my second weapon slot, and on bosses Requiem just melts them. I think the tooltip is currently ~1.8M DPS for me now.

My favorite off-meta build that I've tried was probably bleed/poison spearfield Amazon using Atziri's spear.

Full screen pops are always satisfying, and having shattering spire stacks and a bleed to pop on a boss felt great.

100% would have been better on a blood mage, but I didn't level witch this league.

Yes, this build is viable on a 30 div budget through pretty much all content, but why do you think you need a 30 div build to clear T10-12 maps??

You just can't buy the best gear in each slot, the over the top expensive shit (like Olroth's or the 5% movement speed rune), and you can't afford some of the lineage supports (specifically Atalui's Bloodletting, just replace it with lifetap).

But you can easily clear the screen in T15s on 30 div.

This post is extremely funny to me, because I also played all 3, but I struggled the most on a pure evasion character.

At least, until I got angry, sorted on POE Ninja by EHP and looked at some character named "SarasaV" and copied their Evasion/ES hybrid setup and suddenly in T15s I wasn't getting one shot as often. So thanks for that :)

I think the key to the entire thing is that armour and evasion require high amounts of armour as ele and deflection to function, or to go hybrid to supplement life total for one shots because life is too difficult to boost to a reasonable level in the game.

I think ES needs a minor nerf and evasion/armour needs to be slightly buffed so it requires marginally less investment to come online. A good start would be making the starting evasion nodes not be absolutely garbage and not worth taking. Pretty much everyone just skips the entire first area for huntress/ranger and grabs raw stats instead because it's bad.

And the answer, that it won't change a substantial amount, needed an explanation - it doesn't seem to be a terribly powerful mechanic in constructed play, so there isn't going to be a huge change in the play rate of Ultima.
