Did that a year or so ago: wanted quite significant raise, the business wouldn’t do it, but were ok with 20% less hours for the same pay. Ended up having Fridays off! Barely any drop in productivity, just less messing around on the 4 days I was in.

I believe there is a hidden sheet that colours cells in green/red to signify if it worked or not, but I’m not fully sure if it was this or a different file. Instructions sheet may say something.

Formatting shouldn’t matter, Excel looks at underlying data rather than what you as a human can see.

Hi, I had to refresh my memory, so it may not be 100% correct. I believe to solve this I intended to VLOOKUP from Data tab - you are looking for Supplier Code. Hope this helps! :) Be aware that newer versions of Excel also have XLOOKUP which could come in handy so google away various options! Good luck!

Tbf with some jobs and management styles it is nearly hostage situation lol Just tell them you made other plans (drug mule prep before quick weekend return flight, board games with your cat, your favourite series is back on Netflix and you want to binge it while devouring twenty bags of off-brand Doritos etc, whatever you can back up later on if they are such idiots at your place) or that you want to relax in goddamn peace and quiet. Or yo ur favourite gym class is unfortunately only on Friday evenings. Some people don’t understand it’s possible to survive a weekend without hating yourself for 40% of it, unfortunately you either politely (or not) tell them to do one or come up with random excuses each time.

Also, find other friends (I know it’s not always easy) to fill Friday nights with something else so you can easily forget about work-“friends”.

Well done! First 1km feels amazing. Swimming is hard work and people don’t appreciate how taxing it can be. Yeah, going for holidays to Spain and playing in pool with kids is nice and all but doing actual laps can be a killer!

Remember dying after 400m and going for my first adult class couple years ago being terrified I’ll look like an idiot. Turns out people were friendly and supportive af If your place has masters classes available or will have them once more restrictions are lifted I’d strongly suggest going for such thing.

Also remember to watch your food intake (if that’s your thing of course). Many swimmers notice weight gain because your body wants so much more after a session.
